Who We Are

The Dallas Radical Faeries (DRF) believe in open hearts, open minds, and open bodies. Inspired by Harry
Hay and the faeries that have come before us, the DRF’s are dedicated to creating safe spaces for any
queer who identifies as male, has experience and or a desire for male-ness, including trans men. We are
an affinity group committed to exploring our male-ness and our queerness in all it’s masculine and
feminine glory, separate from toxicity and social norms, in hopes of better understanding ourselves and
our place in this world, faerie and muggle alike.

What We Do

Whatever we want. Whenever we want. From Winter Solstice Parties to Vision Board Parties to Heart
Circles to Gatherings, what we do is up to the individuals of the groups. The DRF’s are only as creative,
as strong, as successful, as exciting, as radical as the faeries who show up. Inspire yourself. Inspire
others. Ask for what you need. Give and gift as you are willing and able.

Why We Do What We Do

Radical Faeries began as a response to gay culture becoming more hetero-normative and to reject
hetero-imitation. Faeries are magical creatures and we work
