Rockstarmassage's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I remember feeling nervous before we started, but as soon as I started the massage that went away, and I felt so focused it was almost like a trance, I think I felt just as relaxed as the person I was massaging, and to this day I still feel that focus and connection.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Absolutely, it's all I've ever wanted to do. I need to make the most of it.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do, I'm lucky enough to be able to be a full time Massuer, so I get to put all my time and energy into getting better, and being the best version of me possible.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I hear a lot that I'm a healer, not a massage therapist. Or that I'm an old soul, have positive energy, I'm sensitive to other people's needs, things like that.
Why did you become a Masseur?
To help people feel the best they possibly can. Ive always been a people person and wanted to make people happy.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Music, travel, building things.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
The most zen they have ever felt, as if everything is exactly as it's supposed to be, and wanting the next appointment before the first one is over.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Be you. There are plenty of Massuers, but you have your own distinct flavor, be that. People can get a massage anywhere, show them why they need one from you.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
We all have our own flavor. I just do what I can to make people happy. You don't have to worry about competition if you are the only person that does it the way you do.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Definitely, you never stop training. As good as you are you can only get better.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Ready for round 2
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
2 years, and I'd like to continue for the rest of my lifem
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Pretty often, and I love traveling.
