Rohan_Davis's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, it was three years ago. this was right after m6 qualification. I used oil for the massage and the client was very pleased. He said that from the first touch he knew I was trained and I was pleased that he was happy.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I enjoy what I do and hence I would say, ‘hey I would miss being a masseur’. It is also about meeting new people, experiences and helping someone enjoy.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
If I get calls everyday, then I must be doing something right. I would let my massage and the reviews here do all the talking.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am a guy next door. The sort many people look, desire and fantasise in their everyday lives.
One thing I would like my clients know about me is that not all my massages are the same. Sometimes, the best massages are those where every single detail is not discussed beforehand. Just let yourself go and surrender yourself on the massage table. You will have a good time.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel absolutely pleased and relieved. A lot of people come for a massage because they are stressed and need a release somewhere. I want them to know that I am here to help them and they do not need to be shy. This is a no judgemental space. Do not be conscious about how you or your body looks like.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like watching movies, reading and travelling.
Why did you become a Masseur?
It is both passion and something I know I am good at. I have always received compliments that massage comes naturally to me and have been encouraged by others.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I would say that although your profile may get lots of views with your semi naked pics, muscles and abs, at the end of the day you should know how to massage and build chemistry. Decide if you want to be a masseur or something else. Big muscles and abs don’t always translate into good times!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I am able to tailor the massage according to the needs of the clients, whether it be erotic or sensual.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
3 years. I had taken a break in between. I would like to continue as long as I am able to.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel 2-3 times a year. I love traveling, adventure and new experiences
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Training isn’t particularly necessary. People have been massaging each other from time immemorial. Having a formal training can take it a notch higher and perhaps provides some level of credibility or may help in getting insurance cover. At the end of the day, one needs to carve their own niche and style that suit them and the customers.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Satisfied and happy. I would want them to see me again!
