Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, I remember my first client very well. We are still in touch and always find time to keep in touch and encourage him to continue his program.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes definitely, But I always have a saying as a wrestler, the same expression " Once a Masseur always a Masseur. I get more joy when a client is happy and rejuvenated
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, for 8 years I have enjoyed working with many different clients and massage therapists, giving them individual attention. I'm knowledgeable, having traveled all over the US and other countries. I think a successful massage therapist is measured by happiness he provides. Being from Hawaii and using the ancient art of our ancestors to heal. Mental sensations are more dominant than physical sensations. Having repeat clients is my best review.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to coach wrestling while training. Other interests are travel,surfing, wrestling, reading, politics, finance and fast cars.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am a little shy but I quickly warm up. I'm a good conversationalist, professional, always energetic and adventurous individual. I'm very goal oriented but low-key. As a virgo, I am overly protective over my friends. I enjoy sports, coaching new wrestlers including underprivileged young adults. I enjoy meeting new people and exploring my sensual side for like-minded discreet individuals. This is new, but fun, territory, the male erotic side. While I am straight, I am confident with my ***uality. I do get very aroused myself, it's the exploring stage. You'll always get professionalism and fun. We have a saying on the island " Men are like dogs" 😈 :) we're always horny lol
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like them to feel completely relaxed and confident, feeling great and having had fun. I would like them to feel that their goals had been met to their satisfaction and can trust that they always can depend on my service, feeling like they left a spa, rejuvenated.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Enjoy what you do, have a good personality. Be patient, NEVER RUSH. Quality before quantity.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I don't like to compare myself to other massage therapists. Clients always have their preferences. I never rush, there's no pressure and I'm very intuitive about working with new bodies. I take great care and don't overwork myself. I don't make more than one or two appointments daily which leaves me more refreshed and able to give more attention. My rate is standard, I don't look at the clock, unless you have a important meeting. lol
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been a massage therapist for over 8 year at spa resorts, Hawaii training and learning from experience..
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I started traveling about 4 yrs ago. I love to travel now. I've been to New York, South Africa, Mexico, London and New Zealand and all over the US, mostly for wrestling competitions. But, I'm really a laid back guy having been raised as an island boy. I tend to pay attention to the individual's needs and am not satisfied until they are satisfied, feeling that their muscles have gotten the proper attention and their stresses were released.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Definately!! Massage therapists need to know different body types. Everyone's body type is different. I always keep up with new techniques, learning your needs and what the best style, motions, pressure points and massage is best for you. Massage is rooted in me. Its sensual, erotic, tantric. It helps you to be more confident and secure in yourself. Exploring can be fun for both but always with mutual respect for boundaries. Sensual massage comes with two bodies connecting into one, feeling your client's tensions and vibrations relax. Everyday I am learning more from my clients and from other massage therapists. That is the best part of meeting other massage therapists and new clients.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
You will have an experience like no other, totally relaxed, feeling no regrets. When a new client has a first time massage, I like giving them the attention and afterwards they will be back.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Being active in the sport of Competitive Wrestling, born and raised in Hawaii. Visiting for a while. I remember when during tournaments my teammates and athletes always gave each other massages during and after. I wanted to learn so I practiced and practiced on everyone on the team. Then I started working, first as an assistant to one of the most exclusive spa/resort hotels in Hawaii I really liked to massage clients and pamper them and the feeling that someone is getting relaxed from a really good massage is gratifying. Trained and educated by the best instructors, I've mastered Athletic, Swedish, deep tissue, deep tissue, Lomi Lomi Neuromuscular Therapy, Shiatsu and Reflexology, all with sensual touches.
