Good Day, Massage Friends;

Michaelangelo's David is one of the most "Beautiful and handsome" male sculptures of all time. Every time I see this magnificent sculpture, my breath is taken away, which is why...

David stands 16.5 feet tall, sculpted out of the most brilliant white Carrara marble from the Italian marble mines. As you enter the main hall in the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Florence, Italy, you see the most brilliant figure of man.

One of my immediate thoughts is, who was the model of David? What male inspired Michaelangelo to chisel out this image of "youthful beauty"?

In my mind, I see a larger-than-life "Hologram" looking out at us from 500 years ago; a young Renaissance man, who looks at you and me; and says, "This is who I am"!

How "lucky" is this youth from the Renaissance; he looks out at ages to come, and tells us, "This is who I am, David ".

Michaelangelo used many artistic techniques to carve, chisel, and polish this Biblical hero; too many techniques to discuss today.

This week look at this "Masterpiece"; do you feel connected; "Are You David"?

Yes, it is My Birthday today! Yeah, I made another year!

Well, since you have been nice enough to wish me a happy birthday; lift a glass of red wine or a Bombay Saphire Martini Up and say "Happy Birthday"!

Since we are smiling and laughing, I will share with you a few "Pearls Of Wisdom". I bought an electric car 3 years ago; a Chevy Bolt EUV. Since 2021 the price of charging my car at public stations kept increasing from .07 cents to .58 cents today! Wow! Can you guess why?

The Oil Cartels raised the price of gas in 2022 to ridiculous prices claiming it was because of the war with Russia and the Ukraine. This was a "LIE". The Oil Cartels were raising money to buy "All Of The Electric Technology".

The Oil Cartels now "OWN ALL ELECTRIC POWER TECHNOLOGY" including the engineering firms that designed them. "Sweet".

Could you just imagine all the arguments that went on in the engineering firm design board rooms over whether to accept the billions of dollars or not?

"Game Over"! If you ever thought that you could break away from the oil cartels by going electric, forget it!

Good Day, Massage Friends;

This week, I visited Los Algodones, Mexico, in search of a Dental Clinic to repair a right lower back molar. A friend referred me to a large clinic, and I had a "free" complimentary full dental x-ray and evaluation. I paid $36. for a teeth cleaning procedure by a dentist. This facility had a polished professional environment.

Since I had been told a great deal of information including the costs $$$; I decided to get a second opinion and went to another well-established Dental Clinic. The dentist spoke to me directly with an understanding of my immediate concern; my lower molar repair. The costs $$ were somewhat lower, and I liked the dentist's approach to repairing my molar.

Later this evening, resting in my comfortable hotel room in Yuma, Arizona; I considered my options. The next morning I decided to visit the second dental clinic and start the treatment. The dentist and her assistant started my treatment immediately. A specialist team was called in to do my root canals; 1 hour later, I was on my way with a temporary crown.

The following morning my new zerconia crown was put into place. It cost $730.

We are family is so true! We all have friends we love in many unusual ways, but we don't always have the words to tell them.

Yes, you lost a friend and the earth feels like it fell out from below your feet.

LOVE! As human beings, we love "people." Think back to the first birthday party you were invited to as a child. You let go of your parent's hand, and you walked up the sidewalk into your first social gathering: "A Birthday Party."

Wow; this was your coming out party. You didn't know it then, but you started to love. The present for a boy or girl is all wrapped in beautiful colorful paper with a bow and a great birthday card.

You can cry now. You started to know what love is.

You are a human being; welcome to the human race. We are flesh and bones and something else? You know, this is hard to describe or put your finger on, but you know; "You Love Somebody".

When we are children we just love somebody, but we just do! Later when we are teenagers we know we like someone, but is it love? Time to play some favorite love songs.

San Luis Obispo County is having amazing "Summer Weather" this weekend! What to do? I could visit the beaches this weekend, but my massage business is keeping my schedule full. Thank you Central Coast Guys!

San Luis Obispo has many scenic hiking trails; I love exploring nature while hiking in the wilderness. I wear sneakers when getting some exercise jogging the Felsman Loop Trail. Get out here early in the morning when it is cooler. Be sure to bring bottled water and wear lots of sunblock. A good pair of sunglasses will help you see the wildlife that you will encounter.

When I want to breathe in salt air the boardwalk along Moon Stone Beach in Cambria is best, especially for viewing amazing sunsets. There is always a place to park in the Beach Cities; I love walking barefoot in boardshorts along the sandy ocean waves.

You should be sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep each day to repair your blood cells and tissues after an active day or awesome workout. Along with getting a good night's sleep, you should be sure that there are no garbage ingredients in your food, especially at the start of your day!

You know that the most common phrase I hear from my clients when it comes to exercise and enjoying food is that guys can't seem to lose belly fat. You should read food labels on all your food choices. 3 ingredients to stay away from are High Fructose Corn Syrup, Hydrogenated Oils, and trans fats.

All 3 ingredients when digested enter your blood cells and mess up your tissues and organs and they do not give you the energy or nutrients your healthy body deserves.

Hydrogenated oils are added to the most common food choices because; they are cheap alternatives to healthy fats like Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Avacado Oil.

Trans Fats are heat-pressed sources of vegetables like soy, corn, or seed oil like canola; the heat process destroys any nutritional benefits.

HFCS is not a natural sugar and is addictive!

You know how confident you feel when your skin feels just right for your day! The desert heat and sunlight will drain your skin of its natural beauty.

We hear a great deal about UVA/UVB damage from the sun to our unprotected skin. We should protect our skin, hair, and eyes since Southern California is closer to the Equator than any of the 50 contiguous United States!

We should apply a generous amount of sunblock to our skin at least 20 minutes before exposing our bodies to sunlight. We should apply a Broad Spectrum SPF of 30, 40, 50, or 60 to our skin 20 minutes before going outside. This ensures that the skin has absorbed most of the sunblock to keep it active while we exercise or go swimming.

Apply Sunscreen every 80 minutes and immediately after swimming!

Ok, so you are out of the sunshine for the day; time to shower off any sunblock. You should wash with a hydrating hair shampoo and body wash; be sure to lather up and leave the soap on your skin for at least 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse.

Dab/Tap your body dry and apply hydrating skin lotion.

Good Day, Western NY Friends;

What is most important To You? Getting a Beautiful full night of sleep, at least 8 hours is at the top of my list!

When you are well-rested everything in your day seems to be much better, and those hard-to-make decisions seem effortless. Near a holiday, we always get those unexpected phone calls from someone we haven't heard from in quite a while. My suggestion is; "Don't answer the phone". If this is a worthwhile conversation, you will know in the message they leave.
