Sethsmagicalhnds's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client right after I finished getting my license, I remember being nervous right up until the moment we met then all nerves went away and it was show time, I knew I had to push the nerves aside and just rely on the things that I had learned. Apparently, that was the best massage they had ever received and gave me a $100 tip. 2 years later that client is still one if my best clients
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes and no. I would miss the clients that were appreciative and genuinely amazing clients. I would not miss the clients that try to negotiate like I’m a car salesman.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Of course I do, if I don’t then I never will be. But yes, however success isn’t just about the profit, it’s about your business mission statement and completing that mission over and over.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Every time you cancel at the last minute 9 times out of 10 your appointment time can’t be filled with another client and that’s very inconsiderate to do that to you’re massage therapist
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Rejuvenated, like they can accomplish anything, relaxed and ready to tackle the rest of the week
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m an artist and photographer, love to paint, draw, carve wood, wood burning are my favorites. And horse back riding
Why did you become a Masseur?
It was a natural talent and I’m great with my hands and love to help other achieve a stress free week.
