Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, after over 30 yrs experience in all areas of massage and body work internationally I would consider myself successful. Always learning and upgrading yearly I enjoy the new people and the returning clients.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relieved and lighter. Emotionally or physically I think massage should always provide release
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Gym, staying fit for the job
Tattooing, my other job
And of course traveling
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
it’s a huge part of my life so i’ll always do it
Why did you become a Masseur?
Being a Dr took too long
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I’m hairy huge and strong with great endurance
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel a lot for tattooing and for massage events
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was 17 when I started my clinic and I had such a good experience with the gentleman I never stopped
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
It’s as much psychology as physical therapy.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
over 30 yrs and i’ll go until i’m dead
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Relieved .
From emotional psychological or physical discomfort. Release is important.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I love to try new techniques and modalities so i’m very open minded
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I have extensive post secondary education including yearly cadaver work and upgrading.
Where i come from, massage is part of the healthcare system and requires years of education.
