It was super easy to contact Chris to schedule an in-call massage therapy appointment and his place is close to mass transit which is a huge plus in Manhattan. On entering his cozy studio, Chris welcomes you with his big smile and warm personality, which immediately puts you at ease. His massage table is very comfortable - nicely heated and padded. He uses a combination of shiatsu, deep tissue, Swedish and stretching during the session and he is very effective in working out the problem parts of your body. Afterwards, you feel like a new person, all relaxed and ready for a nice long nap. Wish he was closer, but at least whenever I'm in Manhattan, I know who to call. Highly recommended!

Moved here from Austin, Texas and it has been hard to find someone who knows how to properly do bodywork. SportsMassage took care of my needs and had me up in running in no time. Definitely will be back for my regular tuneups so I can get back to lifting.

I have just experienced the extraordinary effects of SportsMassage. His sequence of moves unhinged pinch points so that large muscle groups could be manipulated to maximum extension. Layers of tense muscle fiber gave way with each deliberate string and sustain pressure. I became reacquainted with flexibility I had known in times past. The marvel of that moment has persisted hours later. I am so pleased to have benefited from his years of experience and clear knowledge of anatomy.

You know when you have a massage and think it’s the best massage you ever had? Overall ? Forget about that, because this will be the best you ever had. Unbelievable detection and body knowledge, follow through every little detail. The most comfortable massage table ever. Very engaging and caring as well. Don’t think twice about it. If you’re looking for overall massage experience, he’s your man.

His massage is incredible. I was post-surgery. He took care with the areas of concern and stretched out everything else. This was much needed. Every stroke was strong and deliberate. It was definitely therapeutic and look forward to booking him again. I wish I had hands like his. The scalp massage was the best part for me. After all the much needed twisting and bending, a relaxing scalp massage. He let me freshen up before I hit the pavement and was a fantastic conversationalist. I wanted to pick his brain but I used my hour. I look forward to my next session. A great guy inside and out.

Chris is a SUPERB - EXCELLENT massage therapist with hands of steel and grace. The attention to detail and knowledge come through with every massage...10 years later you are still the best.

I had my appointment with Chris today for a full body massage. He had incredibly strong hands. The session included stretching and massage. He worked me from head to toe. I have a history of disc herniations in my spine, so massage is a must for me. If you want the real deal massage experience from a handsome guy, then go to Chris. Thank you! xx

Chris is a fantastic massage therapist. His great skill and intuition work hand-in-hand, creating an outstanding massage experience. I had a sports-therapy and deep-tissue style massage with him, which was so good, I look forward to booking sessions with him regularly.

I had the pleasure of experience Chris’ massage and can not recommend him highly enough. He was very prompt in his responses and was very accommodating in booking an appointment. I was greeted at his very warm and inviting space by a gentleman who is very handsome and friendly. The his touch is strong and yet very intuitive. I will define be booking another appointment with him.

Chris has a way about him to make you feel relaxed from the moment you meet him. No attitude but only smiles. As for the massage, he has amazingly strong hands and uses them well....does not crush you with them but gets to where the tension is. My experience with him involved a lot of stretching with the massage which I really liked.
Absolutely would recommend him and will definitely see him again the next time I am in NY.

Chris provided an excellent massage. His technique is among the best I’ve experienced, and I’ve had a lot of massages in my lifetime. He attends to every part of the body, including the face, which I’ve only experienced in spa settings. He also incorporates stretching throughout. Was in NYC on biz,really needed a massage.
Time was tight,and Chris was more than accommodating
Really went out of the way for my appt. He’s very cool,handsome and has AMAZING hands.i booked a 90minute session,and was in heaven for 36 hours. Still feeling the aftershocks.

Great hands and really made feel relaxed upon arrival. Highly recommended. I felt great afterwards. He knows what he is doing.
