StarQualityLUKE's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes... he told me that I had magic hands, and I was very timid at the time. I have really grown into the art of the craft. I love being a massage therapist, truly enjoy helping people. I'm a very genuine guy.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
YES!
Massage is a necessity for everyone. People need to decide what is best for their bodies. Alot of stress can be alleviated with my Magic Hands, and Touch. :)
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
YES!
I'll tell you why ..... I am a go getter in everything I do . I reach out to people, and I do not let anyone go, without trying to find out why ie: my rates, my location, etc. Where there is a will, there is always a way .
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Do not judge me on my looks, my pictures. Do not be intimidated or nervous. Judge me on my skills.
I look like my pictures, majority clients say even better in person.
I have a star shining, genuine personality that is relateable to everyone.
Most of all, you choose to be on my table? You will be in more than capable "Awesome" hands!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Completely Relaxed, and contemplating their next session.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to work out , but not obsessive about it . I love fine wine, and delicious craft beers. I love to watch movies.... I love to travel, shop and hang out with good people.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I love to help people.
I love a good challenge too.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Best advice: Get into this craft, because you enjoy it, and you enjoy helping people.
It's alot of hard work, and every single BODY is different. Be ready to put in the hard labor:)
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I do the work . You hire me for 60 minutes, you may get 75 minutes, and so forth.
I am extremely thorough.
Also the biggest one : Most do rubdowns, I do the MASSAGE.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
10 Years, started in Los Angeles.
I will keep going as long as I possibly can . I have great stamina.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love travelling. Most clients travel to me, however there have been a lot of times where I travel to them . I also will travel outside of the state of OHIO for clients. I love being at home, but I always love to get out there and drive my JEEP, and travel the country too.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I honestly do not believe in all the myths that come with this craft.
I believe to be a great, successful, and efficient massage therapist you need to be :
1) Genuine
2) Love it
3) Not be afraid of the work .
And of course training is most beneficial!
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want all my clients to feel as though they chose the "right guy" and that they finally found the "right guy" for their massage needs.
