THAIRIFICTOUCH's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
One day when I was a young boy I saw that my mother was feeling discomfort and she asked me to rub her shoulders. Of course, I did, and I could immediately see the positive effects of my touch. I realized that I had a gift for providing relief and a feeling of renewed spirit and I decided to learn exactly why and how I could really help to heal people.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I can't imagine doing anything else. It's my job to help people feel better, and there's no greater feeling in the world than bringing comfort and relief to those in need.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
This is something that I consider separately for each client and even each client's individual visits. I'm always asking myself, Did I do a good job? Was I able to provide relief and relaxation, and thankfully so far I've never had to answer No.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel Brand New, and fully Alive.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Ideally, I would like for my clients to feel like they're floating or even feel like all the weight of their worries has been lifted.
Why did you become a Masseur?
A friend of mine showed me how I could take my gift of making people feel better and make it into a worthwhile career.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I want my clients to feel like we're family or best friends. So when they visit me i want them to feel completely relaxed, like they are at home.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I would try to impress upon them the need to put the client's needs above their own.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I'v been a masseur for 5 years, and I'm confident I will enjoy doing it for at least another ten.
