TampaBayMassage's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
It's a great story! My first booking came from a husband and wife who live in Canada but spend half the year in Florida. He's booked the massage for her. It wasn't till I got there and was doing my intake interview that they said they were Nudists! No biggie to me but I hadn't seen anyone naked as I followed him into the community.
We set up in the living room and I was facing out the window out to the street. The parade of bodies that followed was quite fun while I was giving her the best massage ever.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm a good person. And that's the quality I seek in my Clients.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like a buttered noodle! I usually say to my Clients at the end when I'm removing their eye block, "Welcome back to the real world, It kinda sucks out here." And what I mean by that is, we should all be able to live in that perfect world of relaxation where another person is taking such good care of u
Why did you become a Masseur?
Because touch is my love language.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I say yes I have studies extensively in anatomy and physiology, the systems of the body and of course our muscular systems. Anyone with out that knowledge could unintentionally hurt their Clients.
