Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I do, it was many years ago after I had hurt my back and had started seeing various massage therapist’s, and found every massage I had was drastically different! My first client had also had a back injury and couldn’t believe how through I way! It all stemmed after be a client and wanting more. I went on for years where I offered my services to only family and friends!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Since I’m not doing this as a full time job, I don’t expect any change in my overall perception of the field! I do enjoy giving a satisfying massage and seeing how it helps others.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Depends on how you equate successful! I get great satisfaction from those whom I serve.

How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Completely relaxed and satisfied.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Outdoors enthusiast, hiking and biking are my two favourite hobbies! I’m also wine connoisseur and enjoy discovering small boutique wineries throughout California.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Do this part time in the evenings! I enjoy helping others with eliminating pain and suffering where possible.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
First only do this if you enjoy helping others and seeing them satisfied after a good session!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Kindness and compassion to everyone! I know it seems odd, but I’ve had massages by people who did not enjoy it and it was only a stream of revenue for them.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Off and on for 10 years. This is the first time doing it in a professional setting.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel when I can but also love spending time in my home! I’m one of those people who is never lonely or bored. I love occupying my time in a variety of hobbies and interests.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think it all comes down to caring for others and wanting to help them. Yes technique is important, but having someone who loves what they do is far more important.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to feel like they got a real value for their money when having me work on their bodies!
