TravisR's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was really nervous. I always like to make sure my clients are relaxed and relieved of stress after their sessions with me so I am pretty sure I was asking every 30 seconds “how’s the pressure?” Lol
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I definitely would. I love interacting with people and sharing life experiences while I help them relax from their normal day to day life.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes. I have nothing but a good response from my clients and also my regular clients.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
That I’m a very laid back and chill guy. I love talking but I can also just chill in silence if that’s what my clients would prefer.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed and stress free. And joint or muscle pain to be lowered if they are problems in certain areas.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love being outdoors. I enjoy the gym and spending time exploring the city I live in. I also love to travel around the country.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Like I said earlier I love interacting with new people and hearing about their experiences. I also love helping people feel better. Whether that’s through relieving muscle pain or through helping them relax after a long day.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Just be yourself. And don’t be nervous that you’re gonna fail. If you were trained properly then you’ll be great.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I work very hard for my clients and love to provide them with quality service. From music choice to even the lotion or oil I use.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I’ve been a Masseur for 3 years and could easily see myself doing this for next 10 years.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I’m very 50/50. I love exploring new places but can also be so content with staying at home and relaxing
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes of course. It’s detrimental to making sure clients feel like they are satisfied
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I would like them to feel like they pleased and relaxed and would want to come back and hire me again.
