VegasMassagePro's Personal Masseur Interview
Last Updated: May 05, 2021

1
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?

- Floating on Air! And Relaxed, Refreshed, Rejuvenated, and ready for the rest of their day or week!

2
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

- I like to take weekend getaway's every month, when possible. And I like to take a week or two off every year, exploring a new place or going back to a favorite place (like Puerto Vallarta)!

3
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

- My massage career officially began in 2003. And after all this time, I still enjoy it and hope to continue for another decade or two! But I actually was an intuitive bodyworker way before I went to Massage School. I was working on friends & family dating back to when I was in high school. I was known as the guy that gave the Best Neck & Backrubs!

4
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?

- I've been blessed with the ability to be an Independent Self-Employed MT since I graduated Massage School in 2003. I have a wide variety of repeat clientele, so that's definitely been my measure of success!

5
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

- I feel having extensive training gives you the tools to succeed, but only if you're able to "connect" to your work and clients will you be able to enjoy a successful career. I also feel having a foundation and education in massage will help protect you and your client from unintentional harm. Most massage schools that provide 500 or more hours of accredited education include an extensive foundation of Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, etc, besides the massage modalities. I feel you can never have too much education when working with the body!

6
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?

- I have a natural intuitive ability to connect with my clients, providing them with a combination of skills, based on what I "feel". Most clients tell me my massages are some of the best, if not the best they've ever had.

7
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?

- Make sure you're really going into Massage for the benefits you can provide to your clients, and that you truly feel passionate about this line of work. Don't do it just because you think you're going to make a lot of money!

8
Why did you become a Masseur?

- I've always had a love for massage and bodywork, going all the way back to high school. I was a "natural" for doing this type of therapy, but only after a long history of working in the corporate world in a variety of jobs and positions, did I realize it was time to leave it all and answer my true calling. I have never regretted taking that leap of faith!

9
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

- I enjoy travel, exploration, exercise, hiking, and racquetball. I also enjoy singing and am involved with a couple different groups.

10
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?

- My goal is to help you feel relieved, rejuvenated, and refreshed... Ready to take on the next Day!

11
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?

- I'm a very easy going guy and feel I have a innate ability to connect with all my clients. Even 1st-Timer's feel at ease once they meet me. And my natural intuition helps guide me while I work, helping to relieve stress both physically and emotionally.

12
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?

- I would not consider it addictive, although I would definitely miss the opportunity to connect with my clients, helping to relieve their stress.

13
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!

- I've been an "intuitive bodyworker" since I was in High School. So my 1st client was my best friend. I was very nervous, but excited to work on him... and wanted to make sure I worked out all his knots!
