andre_HK's Massage Interview
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I think that to be a successful Masseur, it takes more than just strong hands. Communication plays a great role and I think that being always attentive to client's needs while providing great relaxing massage makes me successful.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am very creative and love photography, especially underwater photography. Unfortunately, NYC doesn't have a lot of places for diving, so most of my free time I spend at the gym or walking around the city, taking pictures.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Always courteous, professional and friendly.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes. Extensive training and learning new techniques is necessary in any field, including massage.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Traveling is my favorite, whenever I get a chance, I always try to escape somewhere new. However, once in a while, usually during winter, I turn into complete homebody and barely leave the house.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel refreshed, replenished and rejuvenated. Massage is a great way to relax and get rid off stress, I hope that I help my clients achieve that.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I worked at Physical Therapy for a little bit, so I had some prior experience. I definitely enjoy giving massages so I'd like to continue for some time.
