christopherchan's Massage Interview
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I would like my clients to feel at ease and welcomed from the moment they arrive and feel relaxed, refreshed and relieved from all the tensions and stress once the session finishes.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes and no. Lots of training definitely helps. However, if you love what you do and know what your clients want, you could be successful without extensive training.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I’m more of a homebody. But I will definitely travel from time to time.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a Masseur for more than 2 years now. I love being a Masseur so I will definitely stick around for a while.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Besides being a skillful Masseur, giving a massage is very personal to me. I enjoy doing it very much and always give it my all till then a true connection is made. I know for a fact that my clients could feel it as well.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
100%. I’m on vacation as I’m writing this, damn!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I am. Not only I could give a great massage, I also create a true connection with my clients. Nothing could make me happier when you know your clients enjoy your massage so much that they are willing to come back so soon.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I’m easy going, down to earth, and kind. Don’t let my look fool you. Yes, I’m funny as well.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m very basic. Going out with friends eating and drinking. Love doing solo traveling. I will definitely travel around the world one day.
Why did you become a Masseur?
This is it. Because I know I’m very good at this. The best feeling ever when you heard the word “Wow!” from the clients at the end of the session.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
It is definitely a great career. Just make sure you love what you do till then you will become successful.
