daddybeartyler's Massage Interview
Why did you become a Masseur?
Touch has always been one of my love languages, so I was eager to learn more about how I can help people with my hands. I have also experienced massages that changed my outlook and reinvigorated my life!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Absolutely! My success is written all over the faces of my clients as they get up from my table or mat. I love seeing the change and helping them leave stress and tension behind when they go.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I like my clients to feel lighter and more energized when they leave, and excited about our next session together.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I massage with curiosity, finding tension my clients did not know they were holding. I adapt my technique based on what my sense of touch is telling me about your tissues; this maximizes the efficiency of our time together.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I am definitely more of a homebody, but travel is a great way to experience new things and reinforce appreciation of the home. Getting away is fantastic, and then coming home can feel even better.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
The human body is a complicated set of systems working together! Training can help demystify the body and equip the masseur with the understanding of how to best work with their clients. My training has helped me learn so much about my clients and how best to approach their needs and specific concerns.
