giancarlo's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, that was 12 years ago. I was 22 years old, just graduated. My first client was a woman. I met her in her luxury hotel in the center of Paris. She enjoyed so much my massage even if I was not expert at all at that time. She told me:" when you hands wil be able to transfer all the explosive passion you have inside you will become the best Masseur of the world" She was prophetic... Last year and the year before I got the Best masseur Award of Milano and Lombardia
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
My clients consider me successful as a Masseur but I am down to earth. I study and work every day to learn new techniques and I listen to my clients to understand their inner needs and desires, in order to be able to satisfy them in the best way
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like they feel like all the ones who had a massage by me: RELAXED, LIGHT, TENSIONS DISAPPEARED, ENERGETIC, RIGENERATED AND SENSUALY RELEASED
Why did you become a Masseur?
I was at University and one day, while I was playing tennis with one of my teacher, suddenly he had his shoulder blocked and he was in terrible pain. I helped him and instinctively I massaged his shoulder unitil he could feel a little bit better. I had never done it before. He was surprised by the good result of my non-professional massage and he incouraged me to develope my natural talent
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
reading books, watching: theatre, ballet, movies. I am a good chef. I love travelling and going to desert beaches where I can swim totally naked
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
You must love Human Beings first
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a Professional Masseur for 12 years and I will go on until people continue smiling after my massage and calling me from all over the world and book me everytime they come back to Milano.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel very frequently because I am often invited to show my my massage to holistic and Well-Being events all over the world
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My great passion
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes, but you will be a very good Masseur only if you massage with love. When you are able to feel the body of the person you are massagging then you will start to be a good masseur. Every day training is a plus

I speak 4 languages fluently: English, Spanish, French and Italian (italian mother tongue). I have my own massage studio in the center of Milan but I do also out calls. Flexible hours. I prefer to receive a telephone call instead of a text message or email.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would say being a Masseur is a vocation. In order to achieve to highest level of quality you must love humang beings. Giving a massage is mainly a gift of love.
