It was definitely a bit nerve-wracking, knowing I was working with someone in such a delicate condition. But it was also incredibly exciting. I remember feeling this immense sense of responsibility, wanting to provide her with some much-needed comfort and relief. The most amazing part? When I was massaging her abdomen, I could actually feel the baby moving inside! It was like this little dance happening under my hands, with tiny limbs pressing against her skin. It was such a powerful and intimate experience. Of course, I was focused on helping her with the back pain and general discomfort that often comes with pregnancy. Seeing her relax and knowing I played a part in easing her through those final days was incredibly rewarding. It solidified for me that this is what I was meant to do.

- Yes, I can see how being a massage therapist could be addictive. It's a profession where you're constantly connecting with people on a physical and energetic level. You're helping them relieve pain, relax, and feel better. That can be very rewarding, and it's easy to see how you could miss that feeling of connection and purpose when you step away. I recently transitioned away from full-time massage therapy to a different field, and while I enjoy the change, there are definitely aspects I miss. This is what brings me here, taking occasional bookings because I crave that personal interaction and the satisfaction of using my skills to help people. It's a unique and fulfilling experience that's hard to replicate elsewhere.
