- I am an "actual" massage therapist that is not only very well-trained, but intentional about what I do. I got into this work because I felt called into it, not just because it sounded like an easy way to make money. I think my intentionality and skillset sets me several bars above most therapists.

- Go for it! I think being a bodyworker is a calling, so if you are intrigued in anyway, it may be calling you! My suggestion would be to simply take a step forward to discover whether its right for you or not. Go visit a few massage schools to feel into whether you like what they say and offer. I definitely advice people to receive training of some kind, and it doesn't have to be a full massage program. For example, I'd love to go to Thailand to learn Thai bodywork. Maybe that's something you could do too?

- I prayed for my life's purpose after working in jobs that sucked the life out of me. I wanted to do something more fulfilling. I'd say that my prayer was answered in the form of a method called scientific hand analysis, which decodes your palm print to identify your life's path. I learned that I am a gift healer...and massage therapy was my first step onto expressing that gift.

- I spend a lot of time in the woods and outdoors. I love hiking, camping, and simply being outside. I've been learning about foraging for medicinals and mushrooms in the wild...that's been fun!

- I have a gift in helping others feel comfortable. I am very confident in what I do and I am also a Southern boy to the core, so I know how to create a space that feels safe for others to relax and let go.

- Yes, I have sustained myself in a private practice for 14 years. To me, that equals success.

- Being a masseur is so integrated into who I am, I don't foresee a time where I don't offer it. I may not offer it as much as I age, but I love it too much to let it go.

- My first client? That's digging way to deep into the vault of the past. Honestly I don't remember but I do remember the hustle of first starting my own practice. It takes a lot of trust to take the leap into working for yourself. But I am so grateful that I did! I love the life this work creates, including the flexibility of time and travel!
