intwoativehands's Massage Interview
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I always love to make clients who feel nervous, or uneasy feel more relaxed by having a phone or text conversation prior to the appointment. I am very good at communicating and making others feel safe and comfortable is my priority. After my first session I have already established a connection with my clients
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Absolutely not. You have to love what you do. Clients will feel your passion through these massage. I have met many masseurs who have had xxx hours of training but still don’t listen to what the client needs. You have to be able to evolve and flex your style accordingly to the clients needs
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
This is a great question. Yes I do. The reason is that I have been on this website since Feb and I already have seen almost every client at least twice. I consider that success when your clients want to see you on a monthly basis
Why did you become a Masseur?
I love helping people through massage, building trust, getting two know people from different walks of life, and getting feedback on how I helped them feel better is everything to me
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, I was super nervous I did not know what to expect. It was an outcall appointment and he was very accommodating, polite, and really nice. He was such a great client and helped me be more relaxed and confident during our interaction. Its definitely nice to see how I’ve grown since then
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Im always kind and respectful and respond well to mutual respect and clients who are respectful. I am great at communicating and making sure I fulfill my clients massage needs
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Hang out with the pup, cooking, listening to music, working out and obviously massage is my passion and I hope that shows in my massage
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Always use your best judgment, ask lots of questions beforehand to avoid any confusion. Be kind, respectful and open minded. Don’t discriminate against people we are all equal and deserve a great massage experience
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My style of massage is evolving each time I see a client. You will never get the same massage twice because I always like to try new techniques and ask my clients for feedback. It’s not just a “massage” rather more or an experience spirituality, mentally and physically.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Relaxed, Rested, and Euphoric. My clients typically come back once a month.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Mostly homebody but I do travel to Palm Springs often for my day job so looking to grow my client base in the desert area
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes absolutely there’s nothing like helping people when they are in pain or just need a day to unwind.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I am new to massage in regards to this website but I remember doing massage when I was 6 yrs old. I would hear my aunts complaining about back/shoulder pain and I would want to give them a massage to help them feel better. So I’ve been a natural since then
