Gratitude! 12-11-24

Dec 11, 21:18

Big thanks to repeat "J" who came today (in the rain from Midtown) and warm and fuzzy client "M" visiting from Atlanta last Sun. evening. I missed the dance at the Eagle but the $160 bucks--was groovy baby.

I continue my latest other gig, care-taking for my 91 y.o. former concert pianist. I'm constantly learning things about the human condition. Namely how to be patient! And how not to trigger her. (You don't want to get into an argument with a 91 year old about whether or not Daniel Penny needs to be found guilty of murder. Not worth the stress).

Also FYI lately I've had a few requests to view my privates. From what I understand one can't view them unless one is a paid subscriber on this site.
So any information contrary to that is false. Also I don't sent out private photos, sorry, way above my pay grade; as is requesting to have a phone conversation about what you are looking for in the session. Sorry, I don't have the time. My experience speaks for itself. If you need to have a convo about your needs in a session, you need to contact someone else. Guys, it's a massage not a relationship LOL!
Be well and call me for tension release. I'm good.

Announcing a new blog entry on my real business site
nycmasseur dot com/blog

Watch the video "Healthy Feet = Healthy Aging" Feel free to comment & join my blog.

It's only 33 degrees out tonight. Ouch! December is the time to keep your immune system up and strong (that wind was cold today on my bike combined with the mania of the holiday season now upon us, everybody's in a BIG hurry...be careful out there!

Why not book a nurturing/relaxing and sinfully pleasing massage with me?

Also watch for my next video "Doing Sacral Chakra/Sacred Intimate massage and keeping self-love alive, along with balance!...You're invited to watch; to be posted tomorrow 5-6-24. God Willing...

My weekend hours are limited but Friday open all day & night; Sat. free only until 3 PM; and Sunday free after 8 PM.

Watch "Exhuma"--great horror Korean horror flick; also "The Coffee Table" looks good (if you can stand those irritatingly nasal Castilian accents).

My Blog Now has embedded Videos! 11-27-24

Nov 29, 08:41

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I have begun to embed videos on my real massage business site blog for your health and healing pleasure!

Go to my real/site blog
nycmasseur dot com/blog

*You gotta change the dot to a "." as this lovely site doesn't allow links!

Please discover and enjoy "Daddy's Health and Healing Blog" by yours truly.

(If you are on a VPN you will have to sign in (I have no idea--just turn the friggin' VPN off for 5 minutes) LOL.

My latest video is on "Hanging" for optimum back, shoulder and full body stretch...before that I published one on Scalene (neck) self-stretches for releasing chronic neck pain. Much more to come.

*Remember "Please & Thank you" go a long way when you wanna book! Please be respectful and mindful when booking a massage with me. It doesn't cost a dime to be kind.

Been a bit of confusion lately about tips. A tip of 20% or more (on top of my fee) is greatly appreciated DEPENDING UPON YOUR INCOME. So tip accordingly.

Last week a potential client told me he didn't understand why I asked for a tip on top of my fee. Why I said? Because I deserve it! But of course, tip according to your means (your income level).

What's good etiquette? 11-27-24

Nov 28, 14:06

Good etiquette includes being respectful, considerate, and mindful of others.
I love clients who are respectful and serious.
Questions such as "Will you ____me Sir?" is a red light that the person is neither respectful nor serious; and that another turkey needs to be blocked.

Happy Thanksgiving

10-25-24 Two Repeats~ Yay~

Oct 25, 06:04

Thank you returning clients R and JB. Also I'm so happy for you JB in that you weren't flooded out from the last hurricane!

The temp is going down. I am so enjoying ANDERSONVILLE by McKinley Canter. Also making slow and steady progress with my music rehearsing.

Unfortunately I am seriously considering leaving my care taking job. My 91 year-old-client is becoming a bit toxic and I'm not good with toxic people. They give me stress (unless I'm beating up some guy in a massage session and he's loving it! LOL).
When I first begin taking care of Ms. M there was a learning curve but I was open. However she is deteriorating. There is an element of emotional abuse going on now (subtle though it is). I'm planning on staying through the new year if I can stand it, but then it's definitely time for this gig to be over.
I'm glad for the experience and thought I could stick it out until she died but that's not the case. Of course you've heard it before--aging is NOT for sissies.

More on my real blog nycmasseur dot com. I continue (for now) to not be available for massage bookings Sat 4-9, Sun 11-7 and Mon 4-10; otherwise schedule's open

Thanks & CU soon.

Easiest Way to Book / Are statins good for you?

Oct 18, 18:38

The easiest and most convenient way to book a massage is texting me.
Emailing through this site and via my real email is an option but it's not as convenient as texting or calling.
Discretion guaranteed.
I was lucky to just finish a massage exchange with a straight friend and fellow massage therapist who lives in New Mexico.
He's been having some heart issues and in the midst of our convo I learned his cardio doc put him on a statin. I told him I had an awful reaction to one back in 2009 (when I had my heart "incident") and the muscle & join pain I experienced were nothing short of excruciating--worse than the heart incident itself by far.
I told my friend about red rice yeast (a natural statin) and he confessed that since he's been on his statin he's always vaguely sore and achy. There you go--get off your artificial statin and take the more natural, organic one-red rice yeast (any brand but NOW)~pain and soreness will be cease, most likely. Doctors don't want you to know this.

Availability Update 10-13-24

Oct 14, 04:06

Hi Gentlemen;
I hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous autumn.
Just an update, I do work weekends at my other job so my availability is quite limited Sat.-Sun. And Monday I'm free before up to 4ish.
And yes I do continue to pay for advertising on this site, while I am taking private lessons in S.E.O. My intention is to hopefully be off this site by the end of the year.
Also thank you and a shout out to the one client I had this week (from Spain), great session and much appreciated. And thank you to the bodybuilder who reached out to me today. Unfortunately I couldn't oblige you! : ( Maybe another time.

Missed the Eagle tonight but instead went to the Monster--haven't been for ages and Thank God the mirrored pillars are there for you to watch and love yourself while you are dancing !LOL. Music wasn't bad. I frolicked for a bit then went upstairs; wanted to sing but the cocktail pianist said no. I was just dying to sing Cole Porter's "So In Love" because this younger queen butchered the song singing from his phone and being very off-pitch (Ew). The piano player told me to wait--so another time : ).

New RM design PUTRID! 10-3-24

Oct 03, 23:34

You know that it's just plain bad interface user web design when the top of your so-called DASHBOARD displays some generic queen (who isn't you) right next to a big advertisement saying DASHBOARD--MY BUSINESS--ORDER NOW--ADVERTISE!

And so many other dysfunctional things...esoteric, clumsy, inconvenient, unnecessarily confusing...TYPICAL RENTMASSEUR tactics (or lack thereof!).

I am so glad I am leaving this friggin site. Jeez Louieeze!

Thank you L (repeat) L. (I am 5 years older than you but you said I remind you of your Daddy)...lots of fun...then the typical "cold fish syndrome" after your happy ending...so typical of the DL clientel...no worries...still grateful for the dopamine release and the big tip. Bless you Mary! LOL.

Biking on the OCA trail tomorrow...out of MAD--MANHATTAN YEAH!

10-2-24 Hanging out, Work, S.E.O.

Oct 02, 06:17

Thank you very VERY hot client B.

Yes there is a difference between hanging out and (me) working (on you).
When I'm working I'm getting paid. When we are hanging out there is no money exchange--it's more--how do you say organic LOL!

Hail Mary
love and gracias

SEO and my site "fix-up" lesson/mentoring came along well yesterday. Well worth the investment; my goal is to get off this site and MF by the end of the year and simply attract high quality clients via the mysteries of Google, SEO, etc.
I feel good about this.

9-27-24 Thank you "M"

Sep 28, 00:56

Thank you repeat client "M."
Fabulishus!!!

Thank you and No More Rent Masseur ! 9-25-24

Sep 25, 18:03

Thank you and a shout out of gratitude to repeat clients R, T & J! Extra income you provide comes in very handy this week as I bought a lovely new bike last week and need to pay it off!

Also FYI to all, I am taking SEO lessons and am determined to be off this ridiculous site by the end of the year, along with giving up my weekly fee to *************. (both sites = $90 a month).

It's a big mystery how well these sites even work and I hope to improve my website tags and popularity to gain a more quality demographic of male massage clients. After accomplishing this, I hope to apply these same skills to promotion of my writing, music and audiobooks.

I will be particularly happy and grateful to leave this site as the way it shamelessly promotes masseur's private photos to subscribers without sharing a cut of those profits to the masseur's themselves, is I feel a very unfair and unequal practice.

I am grateful to the responsible clients I have gotten from this site over the years; but am looking forward to reaching a demographic of men who truly value and respect what I do as opposed to the huge numbers of no-shows and clients seeking the flavor-of-the-month masseurs.

Amen

Positive advice for "Bedroom" musicians 8-28-24

Aug 29, 18:25

Learn from musicians you love

You are meant to be the captain of your own ship…define your own goals and success for YOU!

Social Media (haters, jealous bots) recognize it for what it is…limit time on SM; and stop selling yourself short!

Compare despair…

I'm back on the wagon after sneaking a shot of absinthe from my "cat sitting" neighbor's booze stash. Was expecting fireworks--instead got drowsy and sleepy and "messy." Now going up to roof for some air. Sadly there is a cover at the Eagle on Sunday 'cause it's Labor Day weekend. The good news is I think I get time and a half for care taking my old lady. Yay!
Feeling very restless. Need to meditate today ; ).

Currently offering Labor Day sale--$100 for the hour Incalls!!!!!!!!!

Dealing With It 8-28-24

Aug 29, 00:32

8-28-24

So sorry to have missed the “massage summit” hosted by a fella named Peter on 30th Street yesterday. I was just so exhausted from not drinking! LORD.

Now I have to go up to cat sit the neighbors’ Maine Coon. Before that I had a slight bike accident. Now icing my knee. Not sure how I ended up on the ground next to Whole (Paycheck) Foods on Houston!?! But I did. Several caring folks helped me off the ground. My right brake is kinda fucked but I will live…icing the right knee shortly...

Thank you J! 8-27-24

Aug 27, 04:15

Thank you so much repeat client "J!" I made almost as much in our session as I do working 3 days a week doing elder care!

My revelations about being sober continue. Today is day 22 of no booze. I'm so proud of myself. Yesterday I reflected that perhaps my drinking had (has) become a kind of surrogate activity for making music. I see now that drinking daily inhibits creativity (this is how I work). But I do want to go back to drinking just not every day...

Young white boy bitches on cell phones--so beautiful...so dead...ah those beautiful days (days gone by) when men LOOKED at each other in the street and checked each other out. Technology is an armor, a wall, a shield we hide behind and it's so friggin' stupid--all it does is avoid. I don't think we get closer to people, I think it separates us. But then I'm a body-touching-dopamine junkie : ).

The session with J was wonderful. I love his energy--kinda reminded me of a sexy version of my dad...ha ha...

Entering 22 days 8-26-24

Aug 26, 07:28

I feel more alive than I have in months! No alcohol. Insane. Am I less angry? Sometimes…feeling more balanced? Maybe…certainly feeling more! : ).

Thanks “J” quickie client tonight and thanks “J2” repeat client I am working on this afternoon.

Currently reading “Andersonville Diary” by a young soldier who survived the notorious Rebel prison for union soldiers in Georgia circa 1864, during the Civil war; run by a cruel, rather confused Col. Wirz who was later hanged for his war crimes.

Today I had a break through thought that I have been using my drinking as a kind of surrogate activity (a replacement?) for my so-called lack of music career. That one rocked me; I have yet to decide whether this is just a period of abstinence or if I should become a
tee·to·tal·er. The verdicts out on that one : )…

Certainly apparent on a purely somatic level that when drinking one basically is just drinking and not really being productive. That's what rubs me the wrong way; indulging in my love (yes LOVE) of being high prevents me from truly growing as a producer.

Growing pains : ).

"The Entities" of a 91-year-old 8-21-24

Aug 21, 06:44

No, I'm not referring to me Miss Thing. I'm referring to my client. (read on).

Well I'm going on 17 days of abstinence from beer. Congrats to me; I haven't even gone to meetings (I read the 12 steps from a far but am not enough of a “team player” to attend—I’m a solo act). Of course all you readers KNOW this or should by now. If you don't I forgive you, there is no loyalty here. Only us mercenaries LOL.

THANK YOU! 8-20-24

Thank you young sir "V." My first client in weeks!
Glad you like your Daddy LOL!

Now on my way to the bank : )))))

Red Lights from Booking clients 8-19-24

Aug 19, 18:10

What is the first huge RED LIGHT that a client is not serious about booking? FYI a "red light" is an indication that someone is not serious about booking and that they are wasting your time (or they are nuts or high);

They call you “master!"

They have weird requests

They need nude pix of you

They need to know your tool size

"What happens during a session?"

They go on and on with a ga-zillion questions

Biggest red light is they avoid making an appointment! (This is usually done within the first contact/inquiry of a serious client)

Extra; when you say sensual, they say “What do you mean by “sensuald” (usually this type of client can’t spell or pronounce the very word). Can we talk “ghetto?” Let me quote Barbara Billingsley from AIRPLANE; “I don’t speak jive."

Why business slow-downs are good 8-15-24

Aug 15, 19:29

Why are these pesky business slow-downs good? Especially the extreme slow-downs, i.e., summer & Easter. Yearly.

No need for an expensive 30 day stay in a rehab facility! I get free enforced abstinence from my *** addiction/harm-reduction program! No need to go to 12 step meetings. When the clients aren’t coming; I’m not ***ming, i.e., my usual feed on dopamine is interrupted. This is good. It forces me to focus on other aspects of my life; it forces me to be reflective (and grateful) for the non-sexual things in my life. Some gratitude items; health, ability to make music; exercise, sun, the quiet of my apartment (lots of people vacationing now). I think these periods also remind me (paradoxically) be more ***-positive...and remind me to be grateful for the *** I do have; and that I can so enjoy it so much; and (more than not) get paid! Yay!
Abstinence is finding balance.

*Read the rest of the complete and non-censored entry on my real massage site and blog. If you dare! These entries are for me; that I share them with you is irrelevant. But if somebody is entertained for learns something new--my purpose in life is fulfilled LOL!

8-11-24 The Ultimate Self-Help

Aug 11, 14:57

In the Shambhala tradition of Buddhism there is a concept called "Wind Horse" which is when you do something to change your mood or focus (hopefully for the better). It could also be considered a motivational tool. To me singing is the best example. No you don't have to be on key nor do you have to perform opera.

Today I was ghosting around my man cave before the caffeine fix and there I was singing "Soliloquy" from my high school daze as the star in the my senior year musical CAROUSEL.

Wunderbar, suddenly loneliness and depression disappear (if only for a few minutes).

This AND 30 bicep press repetitions (25 lb weights). Oye I need to push harder in my workouts. Worshiping muscle at 70 I want to attract a hot bitch who's gonna suck my tits and make my dopamine EXPLODE every morning, afternoon and evening. (ha ha...fantasy here). But to quote Elvis "If I can dream...."

Windhorse...find yours!

in gratitude St.Orr

Day 5 no beer! 8-9-24 Thank you RAT!

Aug 09, 17:44

Today is day 5 of my 30 days of abstinence. I was telling a fellow addict about my "journey" LOL and he parroted that old cliche I've heard a million times. "A period of abstinence is different that being sober." Really? It's apples and oranges as far as I'm concerned. There is no God.

The only higher power is that power in ourselves that keeps us balanced when the urge to do harm is strong (the no-show rat today really set me off but I processed it by drawing a picture of him being attacked by rats, then ripped it up and threw it away--let it go LOL!).

Abstinence to me is the first step in sobriety. And though we cannot be perfect beings (lower chakra dopamine creation, cell phone addiction, cannabis) we can try. Sometimes in just the trying our view of the world can shift just a little bit. Don't the Japanese call it satori?

So I was hoping to make some cash today but instead I was the product of a joker's appointment. I deal. I cope. I am. I am strong. I accept that M4M massage is rife with shady men. It's truly challenging to keep an open heart and continue to offer healing and sanctuary to the world at large.

It takes a lot of forgiveness. I've got it. Thank you rat!
