touchbyal's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I remember all of my firsts and of course I do remember my first massage. It was an outcall. I was nervous and excited and that made me want to do my best. He got a great massage and he is still a client.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I do. it is my full time and only job. My clients always leave satisfied. At the end of the day, I am happy that I can bring joy and calmness to my clients. I have plenty of repeat business--my success depends on my clients' happiness.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
If happiness is addictive, then yes. I feel good knowing that my clients leave happier and more calm and relaxed.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
That I am a nice person who cares about people. Sometimes we make judgement based on the first impression on a picture and I hope my impression comes off as friendly and someone that you would want to meet.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Happy. Satisfied. Calm. Relaxed. Like it was worth it and that they will come back (and tell their friends!).
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I care for my plants and my pets, my house. I work out at the gym and go for walks along the beach.
Why did you become a Masseur?
It is what I do best. Caring for other men is a privilege that I can live through massage.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Be honest. Be Caring. Respect your clients. Learn to listen with your hands.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I have a beautiful home in a beautiful place. I prefer to stay home.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Well I am me...they're not me...enough said.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
That it was worth, that they are happy, and that they will return. I have many regular clients.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been a masseur on and off for over 10 years now. I am now doing it full time and plan on doing it until no one contacts me anymore...in the meantime I'm still loving it and will do it as long as my health and hands will allow me. I'm still strong a fit still.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
You should always keep training and learning and knowing what each client's needs are....
