AlphaGuys's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client is someone I will never forget. He taught me the art of a good massage and encouraged me to be the best I could be if I was going to embark upon the journey called peace.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes I do. I am not your average online guy. I have used this profession to master my skill. I put myself through college with no debt, and I use this business to help me fund my future plans for life. I pride myself on my skills, and the repeat business I am blessed to have because I take my craft seriously.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am VERY ALPHA. I have been on my own since I was 16, and it has not always been easy. However I love knowledge, art, music, baseball, politics, religion, fashion and a host of other passions which I will tell you about when we meet.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want my clients to feel great. I have incorporated both deep breathing exercises as well as stretching exercises into my massage style. I attend to every area of the body, and make sure that my clients are stress free, and relaxed when they leave my studio.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I love people, so this has been a great gig. I also like to be in charge and I enjoy and am quite good at running my own business. I graduated with a law degree 8 months ago, I also love to travel, and thirst for my quest in education, knowledge and paying it forward. A wise man once told me knowledge is power. He was quite right....
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Save your money, and learn your craft. This is not a rub a dub business. The clients want the massage and the experience. I tell these new guys this and they just do not seem to get it. Focus, be polite, on time, and save your money, the party is not an infinite one.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I have class, style, I am educated, intense, real, and love life. I live a great life and give thanks every day for all that I have been bestowed with. Live is short, live it to the max, dare to dream and enjoy those you love.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel a lot. I am into adventure big time, however if I had to choose between staying home and travel ? I would choose staying home. I have a beautiful home, and am comfortable enough with myself to enjoy alone time. So home hands down.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
That it was the most amazing experience of their life. They call me the wizard because I make magic happen. :-)
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes, Yes, Yes..... This is not a tap tap business, it's called massage. Invest in yourself and master the trade. Its, rewarding, profitable, and its feels great to help others feel good.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I had to find something that I was good at, and would be able to support myself at. This business has allowed me to travel, and to live a great life and meet some great clients that I call friends.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Travel, Music, Food, COFFEE, and living life.
