AntonioMass's Massage Interview
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Body-relaxed, Satisfied, Stressless.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I would say the more training is always better. But it's not all about technics. Each masseur has to feel it and develop his own style. It's a matter of energy and feelings. More than an ability to deliver a succession of technics.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love moving and traveling in general. But somehow, as everyone, I also need my cocoon.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've got my first training about 3 years ago. And I've discovered with time that I was good at it. I don't plan to stop doing it for now.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My profound kindness and empathy. I'm also generous with my energy. My clients can feel all of it in my touch. No words needed. They feel safe and in good hands with me.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Follow your intuition. Don't be stuck to your technics. Express yourself. It's like a language. We all use a common one but there are so many different and they are constantly evolving. Keep it in mind.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Because I've met a few of them in my life and I felt I had the fiber to do it. I also love taking care of people.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I remember I was feeling pretty uncomfortable. I was worried of doing my technics the right way. He could feel it but I've let him know that I was a novice at this time. He understood and didn't expected too much. He was enjoying my company anyway. After a few minutes I felt more relaxed and he felt the difference in my touch. I was happy I was able to do it. And I kept going...
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relieved - Balanced
