Atchabas's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was my ex, and I remember not wanting him to get massage from some masseur guy. So I told him I’ll massage you from now on. So my first time with him was a bit nerve-wracking but I did it and he loved it.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Some people say :
Yes, i enjoy the work I do and the peolle I meet. I have a steady client base that trusts me and returns because my work is good, so i feel rewarded.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do. I believe that to be successful a person must meet their own challenges and expectations. My clients give me praise so I believe in myself throught them.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I want my clients to know that i am a devoted professional dedicated to my craft.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
If my client isnt fully relaxed and noticing how much better they feel in many aspects, then I am not doing my work properly. They need to want to return for all the benefits I offer to their health.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy fashion consulting and working out... my two passions beyond my work.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I have always felt that I could offerphysical and emotional support to a persons well being, massage and its various aspects is the perfect way to do that.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
To be a masseur you must love your work, and enjoy people. If you do not have a passion to help others you can not succeed.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I give my all to every client. Not that others dont, but i am devoted to my clients and my work. I have not yet received a bad report from a client or any complaint about technique, attention to detail, or any aspect of the massage. I strive to keep that high rating.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a masseur now for almost 6 years... i cannot imagine not doing this work. I have goals to expand my areas of expertise and open a wellness center.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I enjoy travel and i can take my work with me. I have friends and family across the country and in other countries also. This work makes it possible to travel and work as well.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes, a masseur must learn as much as they can about the body to best treat it. You must also know your clients and their issues and challenges to change techniques that wilm work beat for each individually ... only training teches this.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I expect my clients to feel like they can not wait to return to me, that is my goal with each one.
