What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Practice by sitting feet to feet, trying to connect intuitively and empathically with with the recipient. Learn to feel where their pain is.
Practice blindfolded so you're learning to touch exclusively from higher quality tactile sense.
Link up with me to learn romiromi and bodywork basics and even help me provide 4 handed massage experience packages for people.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Read niche, esoteric, occult & metaphysical books.
My spirituality is very important to me.
I am a total geek for all things Natural, Integral, Complementary, Alternative, & Holistic.
I make all kinds of potions and have a megalithic supplement regimen. Keeps me being a true saggitarius β. Half man π€ π Half horse ππ.

Turn up a little bit. Keep my vices within the societally acceptable triangle of πΏ π¬ π» THAT'S IT. Tobacco is organic and I have my medical card. Moderation in all things.
Like Irish pubs, and generally chill low-key social scenes.
Currently finishing an Amish built tiny home cabin and figuring out sustainable off grid living. Got 5 acres full of π¦, pawpaw trees, and wild berries. It's a lot of YouTube DIY and learning on the fly.
Slowly but surely, I'm becoming a Thoreau kind of renaissance man.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Is masseur service addictive? Depends on whether your parasympathetic (relax/regenerate) or sympathetic (find food/survive/breed) nervous system is being activated. With tantric service, I'm paradoxically peaceful yet primal. So both are being activated. I experience what the client does, profound relaxation with simultaneous exhilaration. Dopamine ("addictive more more juice" i.e. compulsive Facebook scrolling) circuit is activated and responsible for exhilaration. But I'm not addicted to what I do, because the open hearted connection and tantric sensual tactile exploration releases serotonin/oxytocin (relax/bonding/"it's okness" juice) too. It's empowering to empower others but it's not an addiction.
I'm on a trajectory to go from masseur to LMT (graduate December!) things will change for the sake of compliance. I'll miss the extracurricular fun, but I won't miss the debt and WERK it takes in my "escaping the rat race" efforts on my currently progressing rural farm and homestead in "South Ohiotucky" which I will get off grid. (Have rain collection, baby steps)
Would be nice to keep the extra special clients, but it would be a therapeutic massage with extracurriculars pro bono.
