CameronDalile's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I do remember my first client. He was so cute, and I was so nervous. Then he flipped over:-0
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Being a masseur is very addictive and I would miss it a lot. Although I haven't been doing it very long in the professional world I can tell I made the right decision about venturing into it.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I would like to think of myself as a "practicing masseur" because like a doctor i'm always wanting to learn more about my clients wants, needs and more and incorporate it into my skills as a masseur.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm Cameron and Im an east coast transplant due to Film Directing job I have here in SoCal. I would want to tell my clients that because of my day job its made me a better masseur today:-)
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would want them to feel more relaxed than what they came.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love doing a lot of outdoor activities. what's great about the different seasons of the year we have so many options in what we can enjoy and partake in.
Swimming, Skiing, Fishing, Wakeboarding, Boardgames, Weather Enthusiast, Gymmer and Photography.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I want to help people relax and ease stress. There is too much of it going around nowadays.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Give it a try. you will know really quickly whether or not if it's for you. I know it is for me:-)
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I think I'm well rounded in my holistic knowledge as well as medical that I'm able to get a better grasp at root causes of issues and then fixing the original problem.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I leave the feeling up to them but I would hope for them to feel revitalized.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Not at all. A desire to help, a hunger for knowledge and a plan in which to apply all those steps is key.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel .....But im about a solid schedule too and being a homebody. Whenever I'm at the house too much I force myself on a trip to remind myself how nice it is to travel.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have only become a Masseur within the last year. I see myself doing this for as long as my body will let me.
