Bodywork by Charlie - Certified, 20 yrs full time
I am fully vaccinated against Covid and Monkey Pox, I can wear a mask upon request.
Thank you for checking me out on this web site. I hope you will find the answers you seek. Offering bodywork out of my private home in Hyattsville (Riverdale East), I primarily work with men, FTM, and non-binary.
Hours: weekdays 9AM to 8PM starting last apt 7, weekends 10 to 6. I am located at 5104 59th Ave. Hyattsville, MD 20781.
Rates are $125 for one hour and $170 for 90 mins (cash, check, Apple Pay or credit card). $10 discount before 3PM on Monday thru Friday. There are no hidden fees. It has come to my attentions that some who advertise on this site have lots of "extra" charges when you actually meet for a session. I do not. Tips are allowed and appreciated but not required.
Certified and classically trained in Swedish and Deep Tissue I offer bodywork on a professional table using Biotone Dual Purpose massage cream with fresh sheets and towels. My techniques have been developed for over 15 years and are therapeutic in nature. Advanced appointments are usually necessary.
I work on a wide variety of men of various ages and physical types. My work has been called extremely intuitive dealing with both the physical and emotional issues that can cause your tired body pain. You will be asked to undress to your level of comfort and draping is provided.
My likes are many and varied. My dislikes are usually related to others bad behavior. I have a loving partner. I have many interests and occasionally still do acting or directing. I try to treat my fellow man with kindness and respect. I understand that a difference of opinion does not have to separate individuals. Empathetic and intuitive. I help when and where I can.

This is the first time I had a massage session with Charlie. When I entered he asked if I have any issues or concerns. I said YES the aging process. We laughed and Charlie continued to make sure I felt comfortable. He continued to tell me to relax, breath and I finally said I am A type and I am relaxed. Charlie's demeanor was kind and welcoming. I would recommend Charlie for a seasoned CMT masseur.

That was one of the most sensational experiences I ever had. It was like we had seen each other all the time, we picked right up and you remembered my likes and dislikes. It truly is like visiting a good friend every time I see you! You are an artist and a true professional. You know how to play my body like a maestro. I always feel I can just let go and trust the journey you take me on. I'm shocked that every so often you do something completely new that I had no idea I would like! Plus you are extremely respectful of my boundaries (even if we have stretched them over time)! AND you really know how to find any hidden aches and pains.

I've been to Charlie twice now, and though he's a bit of a drive for me, he's worth every mile on the congested outer loop.
Sweet, caring, and intuitive, he gives the best massage I've had in the DC area since moving here. His deep tissue is *intense*, but BOY does it feel so good. He adjusts pressure accordingly, and is very good about checking in, especially after he's worked out a knot.
The massage space in his tastefully appointed home is cozy (and filled with books!), and he uses a terrific massage lotion that doesn't have a scent and leaves the skin feeling luxurious.
Charlie is by far my favorite masseur in the area. Highly, highly, highly recommended. Do yourself a solid and indulge in the 90 minute - it's competitively priced and very, very relaxing.
