This is the first time I had a massage session with Charlie. When I entered he asked if I have any issues or concerns. I said YES the aging process. We laughed and Charlie continued to make sure I felt comfortable. He continued to tell me to relax, breath and I finally said I am A type and I am relaxed. Charlie's demeanor was kind and welcoming. I would recommend Charlie for a seasoned CMT masseur.

That was one of the most sensational experiences I ever had. It was like we had seen each other all the time, we picked right up and you remembered my likes and dislikes. It truly is like visiting a good friend every time I see you! You are an artist and a true professional. You know how to play my body like a maestro. I always feel I can just let go and trust the journey you take me on. I'm shocked that every so often you do something completely new that I had no idea I would like! Plus you are extremely respectful of my boundaries (even if we have stretched them over time)! AND you really know how to find any hidden aches and pains.

I've been to Charlie twice now, and though he's a bit of a drive for me, he's worth every mile on the congested outer loop.

Sweet, caring, and intuitive, he gives the best massage I've had in the DC area since moving here. His deep tissue is *intense*, but BOY does it feel so good. He adjusts pressure accordingly, and is very good about checking in, especially after he's worked out a knot.

The massage space in his tastefully appointed home is cozy (and filled with books!), and he uses a terrific massage lotion that doesn't have a scent and leaves the skin feeling luxurious.

Charlie is by far my favorite masseur in the area. Highly, highly, highly recommended. Do yourself a solid and indulge in the 90 minute - it's competitively priced and very, very relaxing.

I have been very fortunate to have met Charlie and have seen him a number of times over the last few months. Charlie is very knowledgeable in massage techniques and body mechanics. He is thorough, symmetrical, therapeutic and sensual - a truly skilled practitioner! He has firm hands, incorporates stretching of tight areas and positions himself so he is always in contact with my body. He checked in with me often and was very attentive to my needs. In Jan, I saw Charlie one afternoon because I was feeling a little down and a friend suggested getting a massage to help work out the kinks in my body so I felt better. So I went on here and found Charlie who was able to take me last minute.

The experience was 10/10. Charlie was nice, sweet, and helped me through my first massage.

First time booking with Charlie and definitely would not be the last! Haven't had a massage in a while and Charlie knew exactly what to do. I told him if my problem areas and he made sure to pay close attention to them and the rest of my body. The stretching was great and the first time I had it done while getting a massage. He checked in on me regularly asking if the pressure was good or if I was doing ok. I can't wait to see him again.

Everytime I leave Charlie's table, my entire body feels renewed. He is a talented and intuitive therapist who always seems to find the knots and work them out.

In addition his living room studio is very comfortable with warm tempertaures and amazing music list to help with the ambience. I try to see him at least once a quarter and if I lived closer it would be monthly. He is the real deal and worth your time.

Having experienced massage in 3 other countries and 5 other states I assure you, Charlie is the masseur you seek. He’s professional, strong, intuitive and thoughtful. He’s sporty but casual. Charlie was very attentive to my needs. He asked several questions to see what I was looking for in this massage and open to feedback as the session went on. He met all my specific touching needs that communicated to him. He also did some wonderful stretches that really relaxed my body after the massage was done. This was an outcall. I would highly recommend Charlie for your personal massage wants.

Charlie is a friendly and charismatic therapist. From the moment you enter his massage space, you feel relaxed. More importantly, you feel like he is going to customize the next couple of hours to what you need.

Constantly checking to make sure the pressure is correct, he engages in interesting conversation. He also knows when to let the silence go on. Music selection is part of the charm as well. If I had to pick one characteristic that distinguishes him from others it is the use of his thumbs and elbows as he stretches and rubs your body.

Once the session is over, he also offers practical advice about posture and wellness based on what he discovered while gliding over your body.

I visit DC often and I have found a place to return to for renewal after long meeting days in the District.

With a wide array of DC area massage therapists, I was glad I choose Charlie to be my massage therapist at the end of my business trip. After spending a week driving in monotonous traffic and sitting through hours of humdrum meetings, my body was in desperate need to be worked on. When I visited Charlie for our session, he initially inquired about specific regions on my body that needed attention, but while on the table had an innate ability to effectively pinpoint and work on my problem areas, kneading out the knots in my shoulders, lower back, and hips, while providing a thoroughly relaxing full body massage. Being masterful in the art of conversation while balancing the healing importance of silence, Charlie had a knack to make me feel completely at ease, like visiting a familiar friend. I've had many massages and this was the best! I visited Charlie due to back pain and my work as a model. He followed state Covid19 protocols, wearing a mask. He asked me about areas of concern and injuries. He offered me water so I could be hydrated throughout the session. His table was warm and comfortable. What I liked most was that he asked how I was doing throughout the session. Charlie massaged areas that I didn't even know stored tension. We even had conversation about personality types and where we store tension, which as a psychology grad student, I appreciated. Afterwards, Charlie gave me some helpful tips in regard to my back. I had one of the best massages this week today. I visited Charlie this afternoon and he immediately welcomed me into his home. He followed the State's COVID19 protocals, we both used mask during the session. He asked about my well being and if I had any aches and or pains anywhere. He offered me the use of the bathroom and drinking water before, during and after. I disrobed and laid down on the table which was heated, he laid a warm towel over my feet and he began a wonderful massage and experience that out surpassed most that I have received. He asked many times if his techniques were too hard and how I was feeling. He respected what boundaries I had. There isn't anything negative that I can say about the man or the massage. At the end he went over areas that needed further attention and seemed happy with my progress, since our last session. Charlie has never failed to cater to my needs. Wow. Just wow. It was a truly amazing experience. It is hard to find a masseur who knows how to give an honest massage and yet can make it feel loving and comfortable. This is a truly nice guy who I liked talking to. He allowed me to be naked and undraped. He checked in often about the pressure he was using and if I was alright, I asked him to ease up a bit and he did. He stretched my legs and arms and recommended some things afterward. But it was not at all "clinical" either, it was warm and comfortable and sensual and therapeutic all at once. He plays really interesting music as well.

I had my first visit with Charlie today. Scheduling was quick, easy and painless. When I arrived he asked if I had any problem areas, or anything he needed to know and if there was anywhere I didn't want him to massage or if I was ticklish. He then offered me a bottle of water and told me to get as undressed as I was comfortable and provided a cover towel if I wanted it. The massage was very relaxing, as he worked on each part of my body I felt myself relaxing more and more to the point of almost falling asleep. He checked in often and the pressure was amazing. He released every ounce of tension I had in my body. I plan to see him again, next time for a longer session. Thanks Charlie!
