Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first paying client outside of college was a guy named Daniel. I performed the massage at my mother's office in Cleveland, TN back in 2009! lol The first day I decided to be a masseur was when I took my gf's advice to go to school and get certified for massage! I just decided I wanted to do it and start a career!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, being a masseur is addictive in a good way! It helps people in many ways, emotionally, physically, mentally, even spiritually. Yes I would miss my masseur days very much because I enjoy it so much! I don't feel like I am working when I do it!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I consider myself a successful masseur! I mean, I have been busier, but that's one reason I am signing up for this site! To increase my business again! I have been practicing over 12 years though so I would say that I am successful! I do have a lot of clients!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am young,ambitious, driven, I have positive intentions, and a vision of better day. I wish I could change the world, I want to be a better person, and are striving to make a difference in the world!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like for them to feel relaxed, pleasantly stimulated, de-stressed, and like it was the best massage they have ever had, and ready for the really great sleep. Or if they want to go run, let them do that. Whatever they enjoy doing, I want them to feel better, and ready to do whatever!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to DJ. I am a DJ as well. MY Dj name is Dj Agape. I also write songs and poetry. I also am a Brand Ambassador/ promotional model, I work promotions and events. I am a jack of all trades I guess. I am also an aspiring actor. I get featured extra, stand ins, photo double, etc. roles in Movies, tv series, etc. I am chasing the dream of being a successful actor! I also love nature, and the great outdoors, and to go dancing, and nightlife. The beach is my favorite place in the world! I want to retire in paradise, and buy my own private island!
Why did you become a Masseur?
I became a Masseur to heal the world, One person, at a time'! I also want to help people feel better , and improve they're health.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I would just say follow your heart. Do what you want to do. Just go with the flow and be yourself.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I am very unique, and have been practicing over 12 years! So, I have a lot of experience! I am certified or trained in over 13 different styles of massage. I have a lot of variety, and spice it up!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a Masseur over 12 years, and I think I will continue for the rest of my life, or as long as I can possibly keep doing it!
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel quite often! I am also content with being at home! I do love to travel though!
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Well, some training is needed! I did a 2 year degree and 500 clinic hours. I think some Masseur's just are born with natural ability. It just depends.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I like my clients to feel like they are so relaxed and like they want to come back already to get another massage! I want them to feel healed, de0 stressed, and ready to take on the world! I want them to feel like they can do anything, and are ready to do whatever they love to do!
