Dannyfox's Massage Interview
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I think we are all constantly learning and growing as masseurs. If you would have told me 2 years ago I would have a 150+ clients spanning five cites I wouldn’t believe it. So even though I feel successful I know there is always room to continue to grow and learn.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
After school I studied mostly tantric and body worship modalities through workshops and online classes. I consider my service to be much more of an experience than just a regular massage. With lots of fun twists and turns that my clients really seem to love.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would truly miss it. But like I was told by many awesome masseurs before me “it’s not a forever job unless you really take care of your body”. Making so much money so quickly can definitely become addictive I always say make sure you have a back up plan in case your hurt yourself in a way where you can’t work for a couple months because in this game it’s feast or famine if you’re not working you’re not making money.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
That I go above and beyond to make my clients feel absolutely amazing.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to travel and meet new people. Use to be a government brat and moved all over the country when I was younger and that stuck all throughout my 20’s. I also love to garden it’s super meditative for me.
Why did you become a Masseur?
To help people who don’t typically get to experience physical touch or the feeling of being embraced it’s one of the biggest reasons I went into Tantric work, and Tantric work for me means something different just like so many others out there. Honestly there are so many different ways to interpret the word Tantric and for me it’s all about letting go and experiencing something new and just living in the moment.
I had no idea how rewarding it would be after finishing a session with someone and then hearing them tell me how thankful they were just to feel touch from someone. I never want anyone to feel that way.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Don’t work for anybody else. Start your own business right away and learn to make every place you visit or event you attend a networking opportunity to meet new clients.
And of course be genuine your intentions come through in the massage I’m a big believer in this.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Since 2019 and I plan to for a least another couple years.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel all the time for work at least nine days out of the month it’s one of the best ways to get new clientele and experience new places you’ll be really surprised how much you grow when you leave your comfort zone.
