Located near Alamo Square, I give a deep-tissue massage with a focus on your neck, shoulders, back and glutes to help your muscles relax and release. Session finishes on your back. For those who are a little more modest, let me know if you'd prefer to remain covered.
A quilted padding is used on both the table and face cradle for extra comfort, and a Biotone massage lotion is my preferred bodywork lubricant.

The rate is 70 minutes for $130. Longer sessions are not available at this time.

Please let me know prior to the session if you have any injuries or other conditions that might affect the session. And though my bodywork sessions can feel very intimate and connected, please don't contact me with expectations for anything other than a great massage session. Thanks for your cooperation.

Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!

I remember it well. It was the first time I was being paid for bodywork, and I hoped it would be the best session of his life. I'm not sure if that was the case, but he did come back for other sessions. And I've grown quite a bit since then with my work and understanding of the body. But we all have to start somewhere.

Why did you become a Masseur?

I feel that I have an excellent feel for the body, and an ability to get someone's body to respond in positive ways to my touch. And it makes me feel very satisfied when I can see that happening in a session.

How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?

I want them to feel like they want to come back. :-)

I’ve gone to Marcus a couple of times so this review is definitely overdue. Marcus is incredibly empathetic as a person which allows him to easily understand what your body needs and help make sure to bring you to a more than comfortable place. Highly recommend.

This man really knows his stuff. He's relaxed me in ways I've never thought possible. He's incredibly talented and compassionate. It's actually been too long since I've seen him--and as I type this, I'm thinking I must get back on his table immediately. You should too. You won't regret it.
