DenverDarling's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes it was awkward. Not gonna lie. But as time went on I was able to loosen up and feel better about myself as a therapist. Everyone deserves to receive massage, no matter who they are.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
As long as I had a career that was more fulfilling than helping people heal, then I might not.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do! I have only been massaging for 2 years and graduated from the best school in the state and have maintained a continuous clientele. But it's not just about the clients that makes me feel successful. I have changed lives for the better and I am now changing my own as well because I own my own private practice. With the smallest enter time in the best of our knowledge I have of the human anatomy and massage techniques,I definitely consider myself successful.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I really am a loving person, and one of my greatest passions in life is to help others. So much that I often put my personal needs aside. Massage is Healthcare, and I truly do want to help heal the world.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I'd like him to feel like their money was well spent on the service that was much deserved .If someone is in pain I want them to at least be able to feel relief .and if range of motion is an issue saying someone move their arms or legs again is the best feeling in the world
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a professional photographer That specialises in portraits And artistic editing . I've always been an artist, And I find new mediums to work with all the time such as sewing, graphic design, jewellery, makeup (the list goes on)

Because of covid, My new hobby is hotel reviewing.
I love getting away from my apartment and just experiencing something different.
Why did you become a Masseur?

Make sure you are able to set boundaries, take care of yourself, and most of all, Never feel afraid to ask for help.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I could easily say that my knowledge for the anatomy and how to manipulate it would set me apart, but particularly on this site I know that to be true. I am definitely more if it clinical massage therapist The understands healing comes from all different places.
I create treatment plans for my clients so that they are able to learn how to take care of themselves when I can't.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
2 years so far, and I hope to continue this for the at least the next 10 years. I do have hopes to go to school to Go for aesthetics as well
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I don't get out of the state much but I would like to .Like I said before I have now found a new Passion for travelling around and staying at hotels and experiencing different parts of the city.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
If by extensive training you mean going to school then yes. There are things that I never new about the Body before I went to school for massage and I know the importance of contraindicators, areas that are dangerous to massage eithout training, How medication can affect massage, How you can be put into a dangerous situation....And even how to pay your own taxes.
So to be a professional in this field, I believe that it is important to receive your licence. But that Does not mean that someone can still be successful in the field, it just means that there's more risk involved.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to feel like they got what they needed. Debbie pain relief are pure relaxation
