EMartin's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Of course! I doubt anybody pursuing this profession would overlook such a day. Obviously I was a little nervous before officially meeting my client, but once I met him I quickly shook that feeling. He was extremely respectful and considerate. Making sure I was comfortable the entire time. Even though it's only been a year since that day, I am convinced that this is the job for me! I honestly love doing this kind of work and will continue to do it as long as I can. But yes, I remember my first client very vividly. He's actually a regular to this day!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Absolutely! Like I said, I hope I'm always able to work in this profession!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Well, considering I have accumulated a decent number of regulars in such a short time doing this, I'd have to say I feel very good about it lol. I honestly try my best to be the best and put forth the effort expected of me in order to maintain the reputation I've built for myself. That is a fact :)
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Honestly, I just want my clients to know how dedicated I am when it comes to this profession. I've done this type of work for almost 2 years and honestly I love everything about it. For the most part, I consider this line of work my primary means of income
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I always want my clients to come back for another massage, obviously! I tend to make the massage more sensual towards the end, to keep the muscles relaxed and consistent until our next session. Almost all clients at the end leave happy and tip me well, so I'm quite positive they feel like they got their money's worth :)
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I truly appreciate the internet as far as anything lol. YouTube is my favorite website probably. I also enjoy exercising, conversating in general, etc. Swimming or anything to do with water as well. I tend to gravitate to it. It keeps me calm and allows me to think clearly when I find myself overwhelmed. I read alot too. I love learning things. Knowledge is the thing I value most :)
Why did you become a Masseur?
To make money primarily, but secondly, to prove to myself I had the ability to be good at this kind of job. And I'm glad I know my strength now :)
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
To practice on friends and family first so you have a few people's opinions to go off of. And ask them to rate you 1-10. Also, if criticized, use the feedback constructively :)
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I can't say this about all other ******s, however, I will say this on behalf of all the stories my regular clients have told me. Unlike some ******s, I can always be flexible with my availability. I rarely cancel. I am very reliable!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
2 years! And forever honestly! :)
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Always! Whenever clients want me to travel, regardless of time and place, appropriate arrangements usually are made right then.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Not really. It only can improve what you already know so far. I recommend it.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Like they couldn't get enough. Like they can't wait a whole week until seeing me again. Truly, I want my clients to feel like they spent their money right. Like it was worth it :)
