EnergyHealing's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
In a perfect world I would have a massage everyday of the week.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was in Miami Beach FL. I was going to school for massage therapy and had a friend who already had a table. He was moving so he offered a trade, if I gave him a massage he would give me his table. This was great for me because I needed one and it last me all through school and then some :)
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
YES. I do consider myself a successful masseur. I have been doing this as a job I enjoy for years. There is no better compliment then when I finish and the clients say - that was the best massage they ever received. Other therapists tell me the same thing. The best one I ever heard was someone who was recently in a car wreck and was recovering. The very next day he called me to thank me saying he " felt like he had wings " Finally he had felt relief.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relived from all stress and ready to set up their next future appointment !!
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Traveling is one of my many passions, I usually go somewhere once a month. I enjoy cities Ive never been to as well as seeing friends and family all over the world. My last Trip was to Spain :)
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Stress free - Satisfied !!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I would want my clients to know that my top priority is to give the highest level of service with respect and effort. I want them to be relaxed and relieved before, during and after the massage.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a guy who loves the outdoors. Biking, Surfing, Beaches, camping..hiking...Paddle boards, boats, jet skis..you get the idea haha. Also Im an Artist making neon signs in my spare time so I really enjoy that too.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I was working as a bartender in Miami for about three years when I decided I had enough of the late night lifestyle and the rude and drunk customers. My best friend was already certified and was telling me I had great hands for doing this work. I then decided to go to School about a month after that. Best choice I ever made !!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Do Not discriminate against people. I would never refuse service to someone due to their ( AGE - RACE - WEIGHT - OR How they identify as LGBTQ. Everyone deserves relief and respect. Be kind !
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Its hard to answer that myself, Check out my reviews and see what others have said about their experience. Respect , intuitive touch and understanding of the body.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I started giving massages back 2016 when I was living in Miami. I enjoy it so as long as my hands will allow me I will use them to try and heal when I can.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
In all areas of life I think knowledge is power, The more you learn about any topic..or areas of your career the more you are able to excel and grow.
