Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I started right after high school, back then I wanted to be a NBA athletic trainer. After concluding an internship with an NBA I knew my calling was elsewhere.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I have been in this industry almost 13 years, I have been a finalist of 2014 Best of OKC best place to get a massage & best small business. I have also worked on million dollar private planes & tour buses.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I love to give my heads breaks, I tend to take time off to travel & OK State Football Season! Go Pokes!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I always aim to please, I let my hands do most of the talking. If you ever feel something you don't like please speak up; I interrupt silience & snores as a compliment.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want their entire body to brand new, scoreness is normal because I have relaxed your entire body to endure deeper Bodywork.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
We weight train at our home gym, as well at a local Golds Gym. Fitness is a key party to proper wellness.
Why did you become a Masseur?
At first it was to aid a career path, than it became my focal point of my career.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Branding is key! Have a look & concise advertising.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Our skill level; we practice a more advance Bodywork Tandem / four hands. Four hands causes the brain to not be able to detect what is going to happen next; further allowing you to go into a deep state of relaxation.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
We have been a Tandem team for two years; Eric has been a cmt since 2004 & Ben has been a cmt since 2014.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel to Tulsa, OK quite offten; debating on opening a second location.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes, education is a life long journey. In order to be good at what you do; you just contastly be up to date on the lastest & greatest modalities.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Like they found a second home.
