Friendly_fingers's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was incredibly nervous. Thankfully in spite of my lack of experience I was able to rely on my skills to do the heavy lifting. At the end my customer was satisfied and I got to make a new friend š.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I have always enjoyed being āof serviceā and I figure as long as I can find someone else to help, I will be just fine.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I havenāt had as many clients as I would like but Iām confident that will change soon.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
My love language is āacts of serviceā š
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed obviously but also I want them to leave feeling a since of peace. Thereās so much healing, both physically and emotionally, that can come from physical touch.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Iām an artist who works with a number of mediums. I love Dungeons and Dragons and video/board games in general.
Why did you become a Masseur?
My husband did it and he made quite a bit of money very quickly. I gave it a try and now I am also a masseur. We are available for 4 hand massages š.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Youāre probably more prepared than you think you are.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I use my body as a massage tool. I have been told by multiple clients that they had never had that before even though that is how I was taught š .
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been doing this for almost a year and I will continue doing it until I win the lottery š .
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel and I try to do so many times a year, if financially able. I am a bit of a homebody as well and thatās certainly more cost effective š. In terms of my work as a masseur, I would love to travel more and I am available for overnight visits. I love giving massages at my home because I have a lot of control over the customer experience.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It certainly doesnāt hurt but I have found most clients to be very easy to please and very easy to communicate with.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want my clients to feel relaxed but also appreciated and cared for.
