FullBodyRelease's Massage Interview
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want my clients to leave feeling relaxed and satiated. I seek to create a safe environment where clients can truly feel at home and leave behind stresses.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love traveling and try to go somewhere new at least once a quarter.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I consider myself successful because of the notable results that I create for my clients. I believe we can be pain free, but it’s a journey to get there. Yoga and massage should be a part of everyone’s regiment for wellbeing.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I became a massage therapist to help people. As a yoga instructor I encounter so many people in all types of emotional and physical pain. Touch and stretching can right so many wrongs. I love helping people and seeing them achieve relief from pain that they may not have even know was available to them.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Massage, yoga, therapy, and self development have become my life’s work. I’ve been in Wellness for about 6 years. This is truly my passion and what I see myself doing for the rest of my life.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My touch. My nature. My natural nurture. My presence. My intention. My peace. These are a few things that make me who I am and create a truly memorable experience for all my clients.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Practice is necessary to be successful. Every body is completely different and yet in many ways the same. Every client is an exploration. The more bodies we touch the more skilled we are to address the concerns of our future clients.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I value truth and seek to do no harm.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed, loved, appreciated, seen, and safe.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I have many firsts. The client that comes to mind would be one of my first regulars. She taught me so much and saw such great results.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
It is fun and exciting to see all of the benefits that massage can create.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Singing, dancing, yoga, hiking, exploring, board games..
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Do it because you love people.
