HandsAndBody's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
It just sort of dawned on me that I had a hidden talent with my hands. The idea that I can produce an income while helping others feel good with my healing hands makes me extremely satisfied with what I do. 🙌🏽
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I wholeheartedly consider myself a success at everything I do including being a masseur
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
To be honest I aim to have every person that ever crosses my path to feel the good vibes that I offer, not just those on my table. To answer the question properly, first I want them to feel like it’s the best massage they ever had! Secondly, I want them to feel a desire to return as I really like building rapport with good people.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Some of my hobbies are going to the Gym and Overlanding (overlanding is off-road camping adventures with your vehicle)you hike take pics&video and camp as you drive thru trails located all throughout the beautiful countryside. Really cool!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Exceed your clients expectations.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I’ve been at it for 7+ years now and I’m extremely gratified in continuing my practice as I just keep getting better. The sky is the limit!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I would like my clients to know that upon arrival they are gonna be warmly welcomed and that I always give my best effort to satisfy and generally make them feel comfortable and at home. In short I go the extra mile for my clients, because with-out them I wouldn’t be a masseur right!? I really go out of my way to make that notion obvious and it shows through every massage I perform. My current clientele would agree.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I love for clients to leave feeling exceptional so to achieve this I go to great lengths to make everyone feel at home, and welcome in addition to giving my full focus and attention to detail as I work on every part of their body while on my table.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel and I love being a homebody. It just depends on how I’m feeling, but I do enjoy both.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Im distinguished and in a league of my own. As a matter of fact everyone is completely unique. Im excellent at what I do but I don’t compare myself to anyone, that’s not at all how I roll.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I became a Masseur because I really enjoy expressing my talent while also bringing many people a great sense of well-being. I think it’s awesome that I can provide a living for myself while helping others.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
And I think training and dedication to learning as much as possible in any craft or interest or talent or career helps with heightened success.
