HandstoBody's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I vividly remember my first client, every second of his massage. When i decided to become a masseur it was because I was missing the act of touch in my life and when I gave massages it was extremely fulfilling to give that touch to others who need it
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes it is extremely addictive! Who wouldn't want to have their hands all over other mens bodies all day!!! I have slowed down as a masseur in recent years but find that same satisfaction when I do a fewer number of massages and find that my massages are more intense, personal, and better when I do fewer of them. But I will never quit completly
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I have many return clients so if that is a sign of a successful masseur than I guess I am. I gauge success by the happiness of my clients
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am not sure if my clients are aware of this or not but I enjoy exploring every inch of a mans body and since no 2 are alike its a new experience every time. I do tend to follow the lead of my clients though taking cues from them as to what they like so verbal clients are appreciated
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Totally relaxed with that OMG! did that just happen feeling
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I attend a lot of nudist events Just seems natural.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Touch is everything to me! Doing that as a masseur fills that need
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Treat all your clients as if they are the only one and exactly how you would like to be treated.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My understanding of the body and all its parts. I follow the lines and curves of the body and treat it as if it was mine being massaged
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
since 2012 and even though I have cut back some I will never completly stop.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I am a homebody but occasionally I will travel to a residence or hotel if need be
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It is imperative to be be trained! Knowledge of the body is necessary to improve the massage experience for the client. That being said there are some things that must come naturally and intuitively.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I like them to leave with a smile on their face with a deep sense of relaxation and satisfaction
