Hunter_Mack's Massage Interview
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I love music, and culture. Music has always been my first love. So getting to know what kinds of music or background ambients you’d like to relax is important and interesting to me .
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was my own mom! She was a tough client but I did it, haha. I have had many clients since, all of whom give me high praise.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I define success as always learning and working with each person you’re trying to help relieve tension. If they leave satisfied then yes it’s a success! Every massage is an opportunity to be successful and better and grow my skill set.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
In better spirits, relaxed and rejuvenated. I want to help others feel more comfortable and confident in their skin and relax them at the same time.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Working out, yoga, cooking and learning new techniques for cooking. Going to concerts and experiencing music live. Reading a great book. Spending time with friends and family.
Why did you become a Masseur?
To help individuals with anxiety and body tension. I love the power of healing touch and listening to verbal and the bodies physical queues. It’s honestly like unlocking a puzzle unique to each massage client.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
To feel better and at ease and relaxed in their body well as comfortable. I love my repeat clients. I would hope they refer friends to me.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Listen to your clients and pay attention to the small details. Encourage deep breathing ; it will help facilitate them relaxing in very locked up areas of tension.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My love of people, and my commitment to helping people alleviate tension and repeated stress. Being attuned to their needs and checking in on pressure levels and massage strokes.
