InYourDreams's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first massage ever was done by a guy I picked out of the body rub section ("Pink Pages") of the Washington Blade. He was a guy who promised to take me "around the world" -- though I wasn't sure what that even meant. But it did sound intriguing and, having just broken up with my partner of eight years, I decided it might be just what I needed.
I went to his house that same day and was met by an extremely ***y guy who was in his underwear. He had me undress and lie on his massage table. After some perfunctory taps on my back, he whispered a very lewd offer in my ear. I replied yes to him ... and was out of his house twenty-five minutes later. Satisfied but not remotely relaxed.
After leaving him, it occurred to me that I was (arrogantly) sure I could have done better than him -- maybe add some caring and affection to an actual bodywork session. So A YEAR LATER I placed my first ad on a site called classifieds2000 and began offering non-certified sessions. Within months, I had to raise my rates because I couldn't keep up with the demand for my satisfying services.
Today, I'm a more polished bodyworker than I was then, but just as in demand - for all the right reasons!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I keep my own hours, have a catalog of repeat clients, and love my healing work. So, yes, on all counts I'd say I'm successful.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Friends and clients know that I'm intuitive by nature. I utilize my hands, hair, breath, body, and music during sessions so they are relaxing, healthful, and satisfying on all levels (spiritual, emotional, and physical). They are sensual and erotic while providing a warm sense of peace, tranquility, and comfort.
I also offer fully- or partially-clothed cuddle sessions to the more discriminating or sensitive guy who wants the sense of emotional safety and support that only sacred cuddling can provide.
I utilize my over fifteen years of hands-on experience that include a variety of techniques including touch healing and intuitive energy work. I also incorporate my training in bioenergetics, shamanism, and A Course in Miracles during all sessions.
My desire is to contribute a sense of happiness and self-worth to people I get to know personally and through my work. Far too many people have forgotten how to honor themselves and to appreciate their own good qualities.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like them to feel that they have found -- and can return to -- a safe harbor where their body is treated like royalty and their feelings are respected and nurtured.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel for my own personal pleasure two or three times a year. When I do travel, I try to be available for sessions whenever I can. I love cruise ships and try to be available on them for bodywork sessions, as well. You can always check out my travel schedule at http://ultimatewalker.com/travel.html.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
1. Meditate
2. Read
3. Watch TV
4. Go to the theater
5. Workout at the gym
6. Take walks in nature
7. Dine out
8. Go on cruises
9. All of the above with friends and clients
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm different in that I'm not out there offering only sensuality or eroticism through bodywork (though I do add those elements to the mix.). I feel as if my physical attributes are probably on par with my clients -- and that our ordinariness and commonalities are something we can discover together and share with one another. So, I guess you can say my "niche" is sacred intimacy ... finding ways to get to know one another and heal one another through touch, talking, and sharing. If clients come to me seeking a tumble in the hay, they'll probably be better served going to an ****** website!
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
That answer is probably best answered by referring you to my reviews!
