Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would have to agree with them. The feel of another man's body is intoxicating. The rewards you get from seeing a client at easy with the universe around him is very rewarding on many different levels. I relish seeing the pleased, and relaxed look on their faces as they walk out of the studio.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I have a myriad of interests that span the whole spectrum. I used to raise, and show chickens... Yes show chickens. Just like a dog show but with chickens. Seeing people's reaction to that statement is always one of my favorites. I guess since I great up in the country it was just widely known you can show chickens. lol I love the outdoors and anything that gets my adrenaline flowing. I also love electronics, and all types of gadgets, just technology in general fascinates me! Every bit of it is just so fascinating! I can get lost for hours inside a schematic or User's Manual!
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes I do. I was a ball of nerves the entire time!!! I think there was one point where my arms were shaking just from my nerves fear and nervousness.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like them to feel that they contacted the right masseur. That I knew what a I was doing,and my willingness to accommodate their every need.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Have patients in your skills, then sit back, hold on and enjoy the ride. It is going to be a journey like you have ever experienced.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
It is going on a year for me. In that short amount of time I have learned so much about people, their passions and their desires, as well as myself. I hope to be able to do this job for as long as my body will allow it to.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My personality, my sense of humor, and one killer smile.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I find the interaction with the many diverse people fascinating. The relationship that is built between client and masseur is a powerful one that takes a lot of self awareness to even see in the first place. But to be able to build on that is awesome. The openness of clients to disclouse something is amazing!
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I try to at least travele one week out of the month.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Of courseit is! Bodies do not change all that much for your body. You have to trained on the correct way to rub on another person's body.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm a very compassionate and caring person! Though I can seem a bit complex, I really am the country boy next door with a heart of gold!
