JakeDaddyMassage's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I remember my 1st time as a massage client. I was hooked. I was a "reliever" believer. I chose to be a massage therapist for the same reasons. I knew I could provide to others all the positive life/health benefits massage has provided for me.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Its hard work physically, tho rewarding to see my clients feeling & being better after each massage experience. My masseur days are far from being over...
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Absolutely. Only because my clients tell me so.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am grateful for each 1 of my clients.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Beyond any expectation, imagination or presumption they may have held. Feeling better than they knew they could.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Travel, writing, anything in the arts, cuddling with my dog, beaches, bodies of water & to relax.
Why did you become a Masseur?
So I would always have a profession to establish no matter where I may be in the world or what may be happening in the world.
Thus to be able to work for myself & unto myself, while offering the service benefits of massage as my professional craft offering to others, wherever I may roam.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Enjoy sharing the art of touch with all others, without hesitation or reserve.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
750 hours of massage "college", 20 years professional hands-on-clients experience, complimented by excellent customer service & always a pleasant, personable approach with each client.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
20 years...maybe another 20 years😉
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel for work & I travel for pleasure & relaxation. I travel like I live & live like I travel.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Definitely. A solid school of professional training & plenty of hands on experience, growth & continuing development.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Beyond fulfilled in many of their personal realms & with a sense of some enjoyment from their positive massage experience.
