JakeInWaiks's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
It was awhile ago but yes I do. The feeling I remember most clearly was being insanely nervous. I was lucky tho because the guy was extremely nice and very patient. After it was all said and done he told me he enjoyed it and continued to come regularly for about a year : )
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I think its one of those things where your as successful as you want to be. You have to put the work in.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel like they truly know me and feel comftorable/relaxed/happy when leaving. They should feel like they have a new friend and want to come back!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Not to be lazy and save your money, the business is very up and down and cash is easy to blow!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes it is being that you only have yourself to answer to and cash comes quick.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am very straight forward and expect the same from others. Also my Tama (my dog) is my world!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I like my sleep and I love cuddling with Tama and cruising with my friends.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I wanted a job with a flexible schedule and ability to travel.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm genuine or at least I try my hardest to be, I don't **** people over, I actually can give a good massage! haha Also I don't use an alias or any of that.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been doing it for about 6 years, I would like to always have it as at least a side job.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I haven't traveled lately due to expensive life choices haha but Iwould pick traveling over staying home any day.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No, I believe it's more of a , you got it naturally, or ya don't kind of thing.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
They should feel relaxed and happy with what they paid for. I hope they leave looking at me as a new friend and eager to return.
