JayMichaels's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes I would miss it very much. Being a masseur gives me an opportunity to connect with some great people and good chemistry. I love helping people feel good.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I connect with my clients on a deeper level where they can feel comfortable and safe yet discreet.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I like both, travel and hosting as a homebody.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No. I believe being a masseur requires physical chemistry that is natural. One can study how to become a masseur and what to do but to actually have the client feeling rejuvenated afterwards takes a personal level skill, which I believe I have and according to what other clients have told me I have.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes I do. Only because I have repeat clients year after year.
Why did you become a Masseur?
A friend of mine convinced me to try it out.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
If you love connecting with people on a physical level and you are a people pleaser, being a masseur is a great way to go and make money (lol) Study the body anatomy.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been a masseur for approximately 10 years now. Don't think I could ever give it up.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relieved, destressed, stimulated and wanting to come back for another session.
