Jaysago's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, it was about 3 years ago. I was really nervous of course. However, my client said it was an awesome job and left me a great review and things took off from there.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would miss them certainly, but if my masseur days are done, it would be because I have chosen a rewarding career. With that being said even then my door may still be open.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I would say a skilled Masseur is successful majority of the time. Success is also based off of the work that was put in. Being the fact that I'm very engaged with whoever I lay hands on and provide a one of a kind experience, I would consider myself successful.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I have been given many compliments on my aroma therapy techniques, but my clients also enjoy the views of my body.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I believe relaxation is key. If you feel completely relaxed and euphoric, I would say my job is done.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I'm currently training for a physique competition in March. The training takes up a great deal of time. I do have other interest like ice skating, attending a movie, and I love to watch theatrical shows. I'm fully invested into training as of now the competition is my main focus.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I decided to be a Masseur due to the flexibility in scheduling and the pure enjoyment of making someones day.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I would say bring nothing but a genuine attitude to the table is the key, If someone if trusting you with their time and clientele then they deserve a genuine but yet unique experience.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I believe my combo of great conversation, paying attention to detail, and relaxing atmosphere is what brings all my skills together and separates me from the pack.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
3 years and I haven't lost interest yet, I've even been hired to work solely with one amazing gentleman for a while and I believe the experience is like no other.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I have done a great amount of traveling the past 2 years. I do however consider myself a homebody.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think success can come with time and extensive training. I believed in being trained but yet unique. In order to be unique you have to have experience.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want to feel as if they are refreshed and relaxed, I certainly want them to feel that the experience was one of a kind.
