Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I have receive hundreds of massages over my life time and because I know how much I enjoyed them I try to ensure my clients enjoy theirs just as much.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I do and it honestly wasn’t the best experience 😞
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do because I try to find out the needs and wants of my client and if I’m able to execute that then it’s a win-win for everyone!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like them to feel relaxed and whatever stress they came in with is no longer there.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I need thrill seeker… I’ve jumped off an airplane multiple times And, knock on wood, I have lived to tell about it… Lol
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy a good hike and having an amazing dinner party for my friends.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Honestly because of Covid and losing my career.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
You have to be patient, know what you’re doing and not be afraid to stand your ground. Not every client is for you!!!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I would have to say that I try to ensure that the client is getting A good experience and not just rushing to get them in and out.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I’ve been doing massages for well over 12 years. It started with partners friends and family and has grown from there
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Personally I have traveled quite a bit, for massage only a couple times but I will be doing it much more.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I would not say extensive but I would say you need to know the key points so that you don’t hurt somebody putting pressure in places that shouldn’t have.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I’m hoping that every single one of my clients has gotten some thing out of The Massage that they have enjoyed!!
