- I feel as though every person has their own unique therapeutic presence as a masseur. My own is one that focuses comfort, relaxation, and an environment where someone feels comfortable in their own skin. I tend to be energetic, compassionate and supportive.

- I personally have 800 hours of clinical and academic training in bodywork. That means I’ve taken college courses on human anatomy, kinesiology, and pathologies related to massage. I believe touch is a very intuitive concept and you don’t need to have extensive training to be good but there is definitely a possibility to hurt someone if you don’t have training. Training is also useful when you are trying to create lasting changes in a clients body.

- I do remember my first client I even remember the date! I was nervous at first because my client was a 83 year old man. He had certain pathologies that made the massage an interesting and enjoyable challenge. At the end of the session the client was incredibly happy with his experience and loved how communicative I was during the massage. He mentioned that he hadn’t felt that much relief in ages. It made me realize how important touch is to anyone regardless of age and that’s stuck with me through out my practice
